what's your weather currently like?

I've been watching the reports of the bad weather down there on the news, had my fingers crossed for you, I hope you and the family are safe. Did you lose power?

We haven't had any significant rain for a while now, so the back yard has finally dried up. For a couple of months it was squelching everywhere I walked. We've had some warm days recently, but they came with strong winds as well, a few days ago it was gusting into the 80s, and it was bin night, so those that put their bins out had them blown over, with rubbish everywhere.

Cheers mate, We lost power once due to a tree coming down and taking out some lines,
But the house if you look up on street view is on a hill and is built to twist but fark me i was tossed out of bed like a rag doll and was ready to leave just to get somewhere safe.

We have got 30km/h to 45km/h winds all week plus the pollen season i manage to mow the lawns yesterday, but the car's haven't been touched in a month and is pissing me off but everyone else is in the same situation.

I could almost feel the house shaking in the wind we had on Monday, and yet we had a couple of earthquakes a week or two back, but I didn't feel either of them, I don't understand how people a couple of hundred KMs away felt it and we didn't feel anything. I was sitting with my dogs when the second one happened and they didn't react at all, so much for animals having special sensory powers.

65F and sunny, about to walk down the street to pick up some lunch!
Better than having 3 sets of studded tires/wheels to get changed over in the next few days

I hate doing it before winter gets here but I worry about all the other idiots on the road

With 2 large military bases here there are always people who rotate in and have zero experience driving on ice and snow and they don't want to buy winter tires for a 2 year hitch

Thankfully it's warming up as we get closer to the weekend

Was about 41 degrees this morning when I started; no more of that nonsense.

I wish...

:(

Time to get back on the tunnel wash unlimited plan

Or, time to put the Corvette up for the Winter and just get used to this:

Wife’s winter Civic needs re-done with something for the Winter, may just take the easy way out and CanCoat it after a light machine polish.

From Big Dave

Over 30C/87f here today, with a storm heading towards us from the south, but it should be a quick one.

55F but bright sunshine, had to draw the blinds but open the windows to keep it from hitting 80F inside
