Hi all,
this may be a weird question but I am looking for ideas to solve my problem. I just moved into a new neighborhood where every house has a one car garage. I have two cars and a golf cart so the golf cart takes up the garage, my one car has the driveway and I left with parking my second car on the street in front of my house.
The issue is that the cars have chrome wheels. Every morning when I wake up, the sprinklers have gotten water all over my chrome rims. The car is a 2006 Lexus with original chrome rims that are 100% perfect and I want to keep it that way. I know if this goes on much longer they are going to get damaged and start to peel.
Does anybody know of a cover that I can put over my wheels at night and take off in the morning to protect them? I was almost thinking of something like a plastic shower cap (for lack of a better analogy) that will go over the wheel and stretch on to the tires to hold it on?
Thanks for your help!
