When you do a Waterless, how much product do you use?

I use UWW+ the most. I use the ZEP Spray Bottle. It is a high output spray. For the Ford, I use 12 to 16 oz per wash. I spray heavy except for glass.

Hey OT,

I have the UWW+ 22oz bottle that I mix concentrate into. For my Expedition I usually go through about half+ of the bottle when spraying liberally and slightly dirtier. So I would say based on that, I am right about where you are with the amount. If it's cleaner I am a little less than half. With the cars, it's about a fourth of the bottle.

I don't get as into it as Corey does... no surprise there :D. I probably should though...

Do you guys clean your wheels/wells with the waterless also?

I use DP waterless and it does a great job if they car isn't spoiled with dirt. Bring out the shine and leaves a very slick feeling.
When I use WW, I usually do the wells too.. If the car is real dirty, I use the hose and 2 buckets or ONR wash.

We both should! Corey is Da Man!

I use it on the front of my Sky after every drive to remove any bugs.

I can't give an exact amount as I have only used wateless wash to do a large portion of the vehicle a few times.

I do use a good deal on these rare occasions...

Currently my method is this: I spray 1 panel down with UWWP. Then I take my mf towel and drag very lightly with no pressure whatsoever in straight lines. After a drag or two I flip the towl to a fresh side and repeat till the panel is complete. This first step is intended to remove all of the very loose dust and contamination.

Next I spray the panel once again lightly this time. Then take a fresh towel or fresh side of a towel and start over on that same panel but this time I apply gentle pressure... just enough to get the remainder of the UWW residue off. This second step is intended to get any and all dust and contamination that wasn't picked up on the first pass.

Lastly I once again start over but this time with a dry towel. You might subsitute a dry towel for one with just a spray or two of UWW for lubrication if you have marr happy paint. This 3rd step is intended to remove any streaking or residue from the over application of waterless wash solution.
I knew you would have a great process! How do you do vertical panels?

b&b it may be safer for you to use less ounces because the waterless brand that you use is of a much higher quality. i checked that stuff out, isn't like $185 a gallon? i'm sure its got higher levels of wax, polymers and I know it has clay. eventually i'll get myself some of that stuff. just so much $

What waterless wash cost $185 a gallon and has waxes and clay?:dunno:

On a small car I tend to use between 6-8 oz with DP waterless and no less than 3 MF towels (typically 530's). I just picked up a Tahoe and expect to probably use about 10 oz per wash and probably 5 towels.

I adjust the sprayer to where it wastes the least amount of product.

I've found that if I use a California Duster before a waterless wash like Ulitima, Poorboys or Griots I don't use as much product. Of course that's daily driving with just dust on it.

I actually get it for $90 a gallon and it really does last around 300 cars like it says - this is the concentrated gallon for $90 - so I estimate (and all my numbers are super rough) but about 30 cents worth a car in product used.

You are too kind buddy! For vertical panels I follow the same process just adjusting as best I can for gravity. There isn't usually the same issues with dust buildup on sky's verticals so honestly very rare that I do a door or something. I usually do my regular wash before much is there. I do the front bumper a lot though.

Gotcha! I enjoyed the Glanz Wax review!
