Where did my "A nice little order!" post go? Why was it deleted? I didn't even get a PM or anything.

I posted it in the "Off Topic" section and Killr made it clear that we should be able to post our opinions about products that we like or dislike. I know it was in regards to products not purchased on AG, but many have done that in the past with no repercussions.

What's going on at AG???

Looks like its gone! I got a PM 2 weeks ago saying Ive been accused of having A LOT of competitor links in my posts. Out of my 1,xxx posts Ive never posted a competitors link! Not very happy about that and still havent gotten an answer.

It's definitely gone alright. I tried typing in the URL of the post and got a message saying I didn't have the proper priveleges to view the post.

I hope someone steps up and explains the actual reason why my post was removed.

Im a Mod on another site, and Ive gotta say, the professionalism from the Mod is lacking a little in these two situations here.

Communists make people and posts dissapear!

Ah and this is new? Folks...as I am sure the mods will tell you...your rights are not allowed here. This forums is to promote AG and its interests. Beyond that...lots of luck!

Yes, I once believed that I could have a meaningful discourse on the OFF-TOPIC section but that was not to be. I thought that the standards were applied to all...wrong again. It's not about the First AMendment....more like the right of greed over an intellectual exercise.

So it isnt really communists and Killr isn't one I'm sure. This is a better example of a totalitarian state. SO what's it all about?

CONTROL!

well i think AG should allow competators links, are they scared? if AG really believes that they make the best products than they should have nothing to fear.

I just like how most members can get in trouble for showing links to other products or trying to sell something. But, other members (select few) are allowed to openly promote, market and sell their product on this site. Talk about double standards!!! P1et was just saying how he liked a different company's MF's better than the cobra jr's and that was made out to be some big deal. Well to tell you the truth I buy MF's from all over and none of the cobras really impress me that much (there I said it and now I expect this post to be erased).

I posted a link to a $30 foam gun and it was gone in 10min!

that is funny when i have bought stuff off of forum members that had it posted, like more than once.
but it was all fair and honest.

That sucks, I dont think none of my posts' have been changed. But I do understand how they only want AG products talked about on there forums. What do you see in Meghans avatar? AG products. Its because this is there forum and they will do as they please.(Which is marketing) But atleast its not like we cant talk about non-AG products, just dont post up links.

I dont have a problem that AG doesnt allow links to competitors. After all this is AG's forum for their products. Thats fine, however, P1et's thread had no links.

I like how Brandon1 posts a link to a thirty dollar foam gun and it gets deleted yet a different member is allowed to openly sell a foam canon and that seems to be okay. So if I make a new product that AG doesn't sell can I post threads about it and sell it on AG?

:S what will happen is someone will type a long explaination talking about business and autogeek. People will be mad and this will get close...happens all the time.

Autogeek is privie property they can do what they want.

Sneek, although I see your point, I thought that's how the "old" AG used to be. No talk about Zaino, no talk about Menzerna, basically no talk about anything that AG didn't sell. Something changed somewhere along the lines a few months ago to where they started being more tolerant about members using other products, discussing other products, which I welcome as did others.

However, it seems like that might be changing back again to the "old" AG. I see how AG obviously only wants to sell their own products. Why do you think this forum was created? Because AG actually wants us to chat back and forth all day long? Of course not. They want us to come and check this forum twenty of times a day so we all see what they are selling so we'll hopefully make another purchase. Makes sense.

But be confident that your business offers the best prices and best products. Go ahead, let everyone talk about other companies and other products. When you claim you are the best, it shouldn't make a difference.

Exactly. Its a public forum, anyone can join, we should be able to discuss whatever we like. However, if AG doesnt want to do that, then they might as well just make this a private forum where only customers can sign up.

Thats the reason why I signed up for the "other site" I dont like the members there, and they are not nearly as helpful as the members here, but I have to go there to sell my products that I dont use and talk about other products.

I LOVE AG members but hate its rules, its a love an hate relationship! If we could talk about other products, I would never post on the other forum

Yeah same. If this is the only forum you belong to then youll never use any other product then what AG sells. And thats exactly what they want.
