Which brand is forbidden to be spoken around you?

I'm not against any car care brand cause at one time we all used
those most disliked company's cause we didn't know there was better out there, yeah I know most of the good, and bad about those disliked products, and if someone ask me about them I will try to tell them the answer to question while at the same making them aware that it's better out there, and they don't have to just settle for the alright product if they don't want too...just my eight cent

The Chemical Guys fanboys annoy the hell out of me.

anything that would come out of my mouth would be a product i have used and no longer use because i do not think it was right for that task:)

My Grandpa was washing his car. I then offered to dress his tires. So I did.

I used Meguiars Detailer Tire Trim.

Then my Grandma goes outside and sees me finishing up. She says thank you, they look nice.

My Grandpa then says, look he armor alled the tires for us, so the car could look better when we leave.

I then said "uh uh, no you didn't....!" (like a Madea movie) with my index finger pointed in the air and my head shaking left and right and my hips shaking opposite of my head... Haha, kidding I didn't react like that

I then kindly explained that this is Meguiar's not Armor All. Then went to my room and cried myself to sleep. Haha haha

Armor all is water based and actually makes a really nice tire dressing!

I'm not sure what it's composed of, all I know is years ago when I used to use it - it would leave 4 oil slicks where my 4 tires were in the driveway whenever it rained.

**** Step on one of those and you were basically ice skating wherever you walked for the rest of the day.

They changed the formulation a few years ago. Dont remember exactly when.

I thought it was in the late 80s.

They went from DMS to PDMS.

Don't quote me on this info, but I'm pretty sure its true.

agreed, their tire shine gel (orange bottle) is actually pretty good and lasts about as long as any other water-based gel dressing. that and the original AA tire foam are two good products that i would use on the tires & wells (wouldn't use AA for a interior dressing). scottwax from autopia has been using AA for years (tires and wells) without any problems and he details as his prime source for income and i'm sure if there were any issues he wouldn't be using it since he has a plethora of others products to choose from...

hmmm...

Turtle Wax Haters

Im just gonna say that back in 2007 Turtle Wax Ice liquid polish, and or Mothers back to black was the only products at the time that would keep the plastics and trim on my 2006 Black Avalanche from fading.also at the moment its sometimes hard to find but Armor all APC works well, Thanks RMK

Meg QID contains little cleaning agent and it's good for interior dust or light dirt wipe down. For tougher stain My go to is D101.
