I just ran out of my Meguiars Gold Class and I'm looking for suggestions of a good soap?

I have a black mustang that I just compounded/polished and want to keep it looking nice.

Duragloss 901 is awesome and can be bought at napa. Also like chemical guys citrus wash and gloss. 1oz to 5 gals of water. Great deal and a gallon is like 20 bucks.

Your going to get lots of opinions here.

My vote goes for Optimum Car Wash or Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss

Just got OCW and havent used it yet but looks good. I have recently picked up Mr. Pink and I like it a lot and use it with my foam gun. I have Maxi suds coming and looking to see hous that works.

Depends on your criteria..?...best bang for the buck; best at any cost; maximum foam; maximum gloss; wash and wax; stripping ability; available locally....there are many, many choices.

I don't mind ordering something and I'm looking for best bang for the buck and safest for my paint. I just got rid of a lot of swirls and want to keep it looking nice. I want just the wash not a wash/wax combo.

I figured I'd get lots of opinions...thanks guys!

Ultima Paint Guard Wash.

What does Ultima recommend for dilution ratios? Because that stuff is EXPENSIVE.

My vote goes to Duragloss. It is so slick on the paint and cleans very well. Rinses off easily too!

Just curious...
Was there something particular about Meguiar's Gold Class you didn't like?

Here's another good Meguiar's car-wash shampoo...It's very economical too!!

It is expensive, but I deserve it, or should I say my paint deserves it. 1 oz. per 3 gallons is very concentrated with loads of suds and rinses so clean.

Ive been using Mr. Pink for a regular wash and Ultima waterless wash.

I have hose free eco wash but havent used it yet.

Nothing wrong with it that I know of. I just got this car and just got rid of a ton of swirls...I'd like to use the best product I can to keep the paint looking nice.

A person should have good car-washing/drying techniques, tools, accessories, 'media', etc.

Having the best/quality car-wash shampoo is nice...
But it can't be the only factor holding-up its
end of the bargain during a car-wash session.

Ultima Paint Guard Wash.

This is my vote as well.

It may seem expensive, but it is actually one of the cheapest car washes out there. In my opinion, it's also one of the best and I think others that have used it will agree.

Here is a chart a made about a year or so ago so you can compare:

I use 1oz per 4 gallons, but others like Ron may use just a tad bit more. I believe the ratio I use it is at 512:1 or maybe it's 511:1.

I agree. I've been watching the videos here and by Junkman. I have 2 buckets with grit guards, what I thought were good mitts (gonna invest in 2 good ones), MF waffle weave towels, and ultra plush MFs. I'm also gonna get a foam gun. Now I'm just looking for a good wash to go with it all.

Thanks guys...I love this site!!!
