Which electric pressure washer? There should be a sticky

There is a bayonet style adapter that goes into the end of the karcher gun. I had to buy one to fit the MTM foam cannon I have. It's still sitting in my garage somewhere.

Make sure you buy the correct one as there are two out there as karcher changed connections at least once over the years.

Thanks mate! Any idea where I can get that adapter? A website?

Pretty sure Autogeek has it here:

Karcher X Series Pressure Washer Fitting

If they don't ship internationally to your locale, try:

pressurewashersdirect.com
Help me out here, what will this fitting allow me to do? Is this to convert my Karcher to a standardized pressure washer attachment or to adapt to a specific device? I would be interested in expanding the capability of my K5.740, and maybe your showing exactly what I didn't know I needed!

It's basically a bayonet connector that karcher uses for the handle connections to all of its extra wands and attachments, with a standard threaded end.

Using that adapter, you can basically put a female ended quick disconnect onto the end of the adapter and use any peripheral devices you wish with the karcher PW. if you go this route, be careful whereyou get your quick disconnect from and make sure the female end you choose matches correctly to the male quick disconnects your other devices have. I found some quick disconnects at Lowe's (their store branded Blue Hawk items) that did not play well with industry standard quick disconnect fittings. A place like northern tool, harbor freight, or tractor supply company might be a better bet.

I also have the Greenworks one from Lowes $100. works great for me just using a foam canon its light and quite mini presser for my foam canon. I dont need to have a high presser for what i do. Its worth the money for me.

How many times you used it?

I have used probably 20 times with the foam cannon. I have also used to power wash a fence and it is ok for this but I mainly bought it for use with the mtm foam cannon for snow foaming my vehicles.

Does anyone know if the "soap dispencing" function option on some of the pricier PW models can even compare to a foam-cannon, let alone a foam-gun?

was curious, where did you purchase (mtm foam cannon) it from (PWD)?

I bought the AR Blue, 1600psi.
Works great but as one said no place to hold your hose and power cord, other than that it's a champ:dblthumb2:

I wonder if one of the foam guns would fit my unit?

Yes ....you can have a foam canon on yours..

1) AR Blue has their own

2) You can construct a MTM ( Amazon) pictured like I did in one of my posts

Pressurewashersdirect.com makes a cart.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gME_FsKj03M 3:30 mark pulls water I have two KARCHER been using one now for over three years strong new one still in box but need a 3 series or higher to draw/pull standing/static water so may purchase this coming spring (2015)
bought a gas unit from SAM'S CLUB BLACK MAX 2.3 GALLONS AND 2700 PSI SELF PRIMING PULLS WATER BUT KIND OF LOUD AND DRINKS GAS lol (sorry for caps)

I recently bought a green works from Lowes on the recommendation of a
couple people here on AGO. I love that thing. Had 2 different Karchers that I sold because I hated the cheap hard plastic water line. The green works has a braided water line, is very quiet, has the same brass gun connectors as my gas unit (can use my foam cannon on both) and quick release tips. Just my $.02

I second this recommendation. The Greenworks is awesome. I bought the 1700PSI for $189.99 at Lowe's as well.

I had awful luck with the first & second (replacement) GreenWork pressure washers from Lowes. Lowes gave me the credit towards a gas unit. I ended up with a heavy duty unit, 5GPM, 3000psi. I don't use it for the car much since I do rinse less washes now. Glad to hear some folks having better luck than me.
