Which electric pressure washer? There should be a sticky

So tired of fighting plastic hoses on every PW I've owned or used. Can anyone recap which electrics have really good rubber hoses, preferably on a reel?

The Greenworks machine I used from lowes has a somewhat flexible hose and an easy to use Jose reel. Too bad both machines (original & replacement- different issues) sucked IMHO. But people seem to really like the machine.

I ended up with a heavy duty gas 5+ GPM machine after trying a few electric machines. I don't use it for cars much, except when removing really bad brake crap combined with Sonax. Or excessively muddy trucks.

That looks to be nearly identical to my K5.750. Watch that dirt buster wand, it will strip paint from factory wheels, from frame and axles. I don't use that on painted car parts after I've had a few mishaps while learning just how aggressive that wand is. I use it in cleaning concrete primarily. If you want to use it on wheels, keep at least two feet back from the paint and be 90 degrees to the surface.

Three only difference in my K5 and yours that I see is that yours doesn't have the hose reel on it.

I have the K3 trying to decide between the Karcher brand foam cannon or shell out the cash for an mtm style. The Karcher one is only 18 bucks and got good reviews might be worth a shot

The Karcher foam nozzel may be only $18 but the foam lance is a good bit more ca$h

I think I'm having a brain fart and my search skills are weak today.

I just got in my Sun Joe SPX3000 and I am having trouble attaching my Autogeek foam cannon. What connections do I need?

Guys..

The Karcher is only 3.6 in height..
How long do you think you can wash a car with that before you have to fill it up again...please

The MTM works fine with my 1800 PW
The bottle is 32 ozs...

enough said..spend the money!!

The MTM brand would have came with the "quick connect" attachment for your Sun Joe

You'll have to read this...How To Select a Fitting for the Foam Cannon HP

Why Autogeek doesn't come with a QC is ridiculous

Bring your wand and foam canon to a Ace Hardware Store and maybe they can find a adapter to fit it

That's not necessarily a guarantee of anything. The Karcher model may well fill the reservoir with only soap and mix it internally, metering out the soap much slower. With the MTM, you don't fill the entire 32 oz bottle with soap, it's a soap/water dilution.

I went with the MTM as I could see with my eyes on YouTube what it was capable of producing, but I can't state factually the Karcher foamer attachment is of worse quality or performance. I've not read any reviews here of the Karcher foam gun to judge. It might be a worthy piece for all I know, but I can't condemn it based on flawed reasoning.

Looking at YouTube videos on that small Karcher foam gun...

looks more like a low-pressure on-board PW component

look at a MTM Foam Canon video

Is there a difference?

Can't figure how to copy the link from app on my phone... So here is title with part number you are looking for.

Perhaps we're not talking about the same thing here,

Given that I have no idea about the soap dilution ratios being used here, or the specs on the machines:

Ultimate Snow Foam: http://youtu.be/pUkhoAAmB60

Foam Gun Karcher: http://youtu.be/8j2X7fCfnDk

These both seem as if the Karcher foam gun/lance could function adequately.

Believe me, after my K5.740 bit the dust with only 1 year and 2-3 months of once weekly usage, I've got no love of Karcher anything. I merely stated that I can't definitively state the Karcher foam gun is clearly inferior to the MTM or other foam guns/cannons based on size-of-unit specs alone. Given an extra adapter and some other pieces need to be purchased to make other foam guns work with the Karcher, maybe their foam gun isn't a bad purchase if you're going to stay exclusively Karcher. A.

Hi...

I believe the gentleman in post #104 is talking about this $18 item...

Would this be better than the MTM?

Possibly, I know nothing about Karcher's soap they use in that particular video. It's possible their soap doesn't foam worth a hoot in an MTM gun either. Impossible to tell without hands on experience.

That $18 unit is cheaper than the $22 adapter it takes just to get the MTM foam gun to mate to the Karcher wand. Not much capital outlay to see if it would work well enough for the poster's intended purposes, though with the age of that particular foam gun from Karcher, he should check to see if it even works with the X series Karcher PWs.

I have a K series, and yes the low capacity would be an issue for foaming my full size truck. Don't want to have to stop and refill halfway. I think the mtm adjustable on Amazon is ready to run for a Karcher wand fresh out of the box.
