Which has the best foam? Maxi Suds vs Honey Dew vs Extreme Bodywash

I have that. It makes good suds but IMO it leaves behind a soapy film that takes a lot of rinsing to get off. My dilution in my soap canister in the g force foam cannon is 1:100

Wow it leaves behind a soapy film at 1:100 dilution? That's really concentrated then. Thanks for sharing your experience with it.

And here's the kicker, I'm talking about what's in the soap canister so with the pressure washer the dilution is even lower!

I am using my mtm foam cannon for the 2nd time and have the CH Maxi suds II... I used about 4oz last time in the smaller bottle... I see dilution ratios for when you are using GALLONS and washing it with a bucket but how does one figure out just how much to put into the smaller bottom of a foam cannon.. obviously you are putting a small amount in the canister then filling it up with water, and the pressure washer is also spraying water so how much do you really end up using or going through for the correct ratio?

Should I try only 2oz next time? I don't want to waste product obviously but don't want to use too little... When I used 4oz, there was a lot of foam.. would using half of that really affect the amount of foam that comes out?

Thanks,
-Nigel

I use about 3.5 oz with Maxi Suds. You can probably use less, but with my set up that works out to about an oz / gallon ratio on the panel, depending on the dial.

MS II foams much better than DP IME.

Yes using less product makes less foam and using more makes more. Also if you have hard water you need more product to make the same amount of foam compared to cleaner water. So rather than use more product you can get one of those water filters (they sell some on Autogeek) if hard water is a problem in your area.

I like Maxi Suds II as well.

Don't forget, the power of your pressure washer will dictate how thick and clingy foam will be. When it comes to foam cannons, gas pressure washers are much more effective than electric ones.

Good points about the pressure washer being gas/electric. I HAD a gas one before but honestly I purchased a smaller electric one at Costco simply for the fact of washing cars... that's it. Has no other purpose that to use the foam cannon. Plus I didn't want run a gas powered pressure washer at 7am or at late at night if I am washing the cars and piss the neighbors off... with the electric I know I'm not getting the max potential out of it but the sheer size of the unit is nice because I can put it in the corner and it doesn't take up a footprint unlike a larger gas one that we had...etc.

I was looking at Hyper wash from mcguire's as well but honestly with prime on amazon and the subscription I can get Maxi Suds II for $18 a gallon and it ships free... seems like an excellent deal honestly....

Just didn't know why honey due was more expensive. So far I think I'm going to stick with MSII only because it looks good and smells awesome and is the cheapest so far...
