Thanks jamores

Maybe we should start a thread on the Meguiars MF Failures. I know it would come in handy for Meguiars to have all this stuff documented in 1 place

Sounds like a super fun system to own :)

lol it is a great system i must state again, I did call megs customer service and they are sending me two new cutting discs and they ARE AWARE of this problem. Catch 22 is there on backorder... so who knows when I will get my pads. I need something to finish this car ASAP! Im thinking surbuf pads.. Will they remove 2000 grit sanding marks?? Will the orange lc flat pads remove sanding marks using m105 via DA. I didnt like the way my pfw pad was working it wasnt removing half of what the mf cutting disc is doing using m105... I need a better wool pad any rec??? I would like to stick to the DA for its ease of use compared to the rotary but I will use the rotary IF I have to.

This is crazy. I have done quite a few cars with one pad and not had a problem. Wonder what is going on?????
James, exactly.

I've beat the hell out of my MF discs and haven't had a problem. I think JA's problem might be that he's running at too high of a speed(speed 5). I don't think he'll have this problem using speed 4. :dblthumb2:

hey hey hey mark slow it down (pun intended) lol

Just yesterday I used 2 of the 5.5" cutting discs on speed 6 on PC and they are completely fine. It looks like its coming apart because of the way you tore the pad off of the BP. I noticed that when taking these off of the BP you have to go alot slower then when removing a foam pad. These seem they will tear apart faster if you try to take them off like you would a foam pad.
