Which MicroFiber Detergent You Use?

Tide Free and Clear. Have used other brands of Free and Clear as well. All seems to work the same. I just don't see the need to invest in a limited use product when Free and Clear can be used on MF as well as all of my other stuff.

3D Towel Kleen and/or Wolfgang. Can't beat the price of 3D!

I use ALL. The one w no dyes or fragrances. Works perfect and my MF come out like new.

I use any formulation of Tide. Same here, MFs come out great

Started with Tide Free and I received a bottle Wolfgang Microfiber cleaner and can’t really tell the difference. I’ll go back to Tide Free when the Wolfgang is done. Clean is clean.

3D. I’ve also used CG and Micro restore. To me it seems like the 3D does actually work the best.

Also, I can get 128oz of Towel Kleen for under 18 bucks. 1oz per wash.

As a hobbyist, that will last me over 2 1/2 years. (Weekly washes May-thru-October, and sporadic in the remaining calendar months.)

Tide Free & Clear (and sometimes All Clear). I've trusted this to items of clothing that are far more finicky and more costly than any MF. Not to mention I've used Tide for clothes that had oil, gas, grease and whatever else comes with working in a garage and they all came out perfectly clean. I defy anyone to do a true blind test and actually be able to recognize any difference.

Yes, I've tried a couple of the 'specialty' MF cleaners and found no difference other than they are much more costly.

I’m going to try that variety of Tide if it gets oil out! Thanks

That’s what I use but 150oz bottle is bout 17-20$. Use about 1 1/2 oz per load average 100 loads. I didn’t use microfiber washes as they average 30$+ a gallon. Never checked in 3D cleen but a 18$ a gallon and average of 1oz a gallon seems to be a better bargain and a product dedicated for MF (whatever belief you put into that). All you 3D Kleen guys thanks. Gonna order a bottle and give it a whirl!......... get it?..........Cuz I’m gonna put in wash machine...... it spins...... in a circle.......

3D Towel Kleen and Poorboy’s Typhoon are what I have used. Both do a nice job. Although the Poorboy’s is more expensive, I will be picking up another gallon to support the company.

Poorboy’s Tornado Pad Cleaner is another great maintenance product.

As a weekend warrior not overly concerned with cost these two will always be in my arsenal.

Tide Free and Clear..didn't notice any diff in towels after using dedicated detergent so staying with Tide..

I've tried a bunch and like Poorboys Typhoon the best

3d towel clean user here. 25 percent off today, and a great product. I (my wife) uses it on our house towels
Makes them fluffy with no fragrance

I've not experimented but our regular laundry detergent seems to work for me. I always add an additional rinse only cycle afterwards, to get as much of the fragarance from the detergent as possible. I also dry to "extra dry" on low heat in the dryer, without any dryer sheets that my wife uses.

I've never really thoguht about this subject, but will be following this and maybe research it a little depending.

At least with regular detergent, the enzymes start to breakdown after a year. It will continue to clean but at 12 months it starts to loose it's effectiveness.
