Ok, I've had the same PC for over 10 years now. It's getting up there and ready for retirement. What should I get next? A new PC? Rupes? Griots? Chemical Guys?

My priorities:
- I want to be able to use the same pads I currently have, Lake Country 5.25" and 3". If I have to change backing plates, no problem. But I've got too much money in pads to start over.
- I want to buy one machine to do it all reasonably well. I don't want one for large areas and a dedicated detail polisher.
- looking for a DA of course.

Would I be best served to get a new PC? Is there a significant advantage to spending more coin for the others?

Thanks.

since you already have a PC you can dedicate that with smaller pads (3"- 4") and work in tighter areas. the G21 with the 5" backing plate would be a great choice for the rest of the bulk...

If you dont care about vibration, buy a GG6. If you want a super smooth top of the line polisher, it does not get better than Rupes

I have a PC 7424, I went with Flex 3401 for an upgrade, love it, cut my buffing time in half at least. I got a backing plate, 4" as I recall, so that I could use all my 5.5" pads. I kept the PC, it's great with 3.5" pads. I've never tried a GG or a Rupes, but they are likely excellent machines also, you probably can't go wrong with any of these choices.
