I wouldn't buy it, so put me down for a no vote.
Lake country Blue and Big Red are totally different. In terms of softness and price just to name most obvi. People forget that AGO is a business and to sell a $20+ sponge... there's not much room for profit, just sayin. I mean if I had unlimited cash flow I'd get one for the s**ts but when hd and lows sells equally soft sponges for a fraction its a no brainer.
I wouldn't buy it either (I just bought a bone), but put me down for a yes vote. Someone else might want one.
Do you use "The Bone" for Rinseless Washes?
Now why would they not recommend using a super soft sponge with soap?
Either a rinseless product has enough lubricity to use either sponge, or it doesn't. That's indeed what the implication sounds like to me and if that be the case I would question rinseless washes altogether.
Water its self is a lubricant and these waterless and rinseless products, most all of them that I know of, can be used in a traditional wash of soap and water to help 'soften' the water. So, one would think that with a sponge soaked plum full of these 'softening' agent goodies, no special sponge would be 'required'.
Not trying to be argumentative, just stating it doesn't make sense to me.
I've eat crow on a few occasions though...you get used to it after a while.![]()
Please let me low what you thinkI may have misspoke. I would say you can use the Big Red Sponge with car soap and I think it would be fine but I have never seen anyone use it for anything but Rinseless Washes.
