I'm still secretly hoping that blackberry makes a huge comeback. If only they would integrate with Android's app market, I would be back with them in a heartbeat. I've had android, windows, apple, as well as blackberry's and so far the blackberry's have been the most reliable for me... I mean... Just look at how awesome this device looks (Even though it will probably have a $1000 price tag):

Apple is just like Micro$oft. The advertising and PR (BS) is all the new, new and improved.
They tell you that you have to have it. They said that about their last release.
Stating that this is the only one you are going to ever need.
Where does Apple say "you have to have it" or "it's the only one you are ever going to need"?
It's just a product for sale like anything else. Market forces will dictate if it's good or not. If it's not good - it won't sell. If someone makes a better one cheaper - it will replace it. That's what happened to Palm and Blackberry - the products sucked & they went away.
But, nobody has made a better phone. That's why the iPhone outsells them all - probably combined.

Lol funny, I was reading about that online today, people having it bend in their pockets.
Who puts a $700 phone in their pocket without some type of sturdy case? What if you forget and sit on it? Who even has a $700 phone without some type of sturdy case? You'd have to be nuts.
I've been using OtterBoxes since I believe they first came out with iPhone cases. Basically, the Otterbox has been bullet proof for me. I've dropped my phone so many times... Pretty much daily. One time I tripped and smashed the phone down with all my weight on it. No damage to the phone.
I think without an Otterbox an iPhone would last me about a 3 days. That's about the amount of time that can pass before I drop it. The thinner the phone - the better; as the cases will also get thinner.
My problem with that HUGE Otterbox Case is that you take a small compact phone and put it in that MONSTROUS case and then you have what equates to a brick in your pocket. Then again I have a Samsung S4 which is much more durable than an iphone anyway.

It's a done deal---Got me an iPhone 5.Although it's been FUN being an electronics-caveman:
I need to try to enter into the 21st century before too long.
•I'll just look for a:
-Traded-in-iPhone5 to buy...
^^^Why...That's plain silly to think this way, IMHO.^^^My problem with that HUGE Otterbox Case is that you take a small compact phone and put it in that MONSTROUS case and then you have what equates to a brick in your pocket.
I agree. No way will I put a case on my G3. No need for one anyway. If someone needs a case for their phone, I think that says a lot.
