So here's a story my friend told me today...

Friend: so I saw this girl at gas station right
Friend: she started cleaning her car with paper towels

Me:

I was wondering when rage comics would make it to AG :D

At least it was to her own car.

A person in my wife's office put garbage on top of her car and scratched the roof just to free up her hands to open the dumpster lid. My wife is too nice and didn't say anything and will not show me who it is. At least I can correct it.

I drove past a house one time and a guy with a new black G35 was sliding a case of pint water bottles off the trunk....but it was ok, right? Because he probably had the dealer protection on it.

I dont understand the reasoning for putting crap on your roof/trunk to get your keys or to set something down really quick. Are they too damn lazy to pick something off the ground? I mean, I dont put the few remaing grocerie bags on my roof so I can have a hand to shut the trunk. I put it on the GROUND. I dont understand people.

One of my good friends stacks everthing on his roof while he opens doors or to look inside a backpack or whatever. It always goes on the roof instead of the ground or curb. I dont get it.

Every person who comes out of the $3 wash here, parks, gets out the nastiest bath towel they own... And rubs all over there expensive cars..

Eh...I'm sure they don't get why we're making a big deal out of it.

Don't worry 90min with the autobutler and it will be good as new. :p

My wife took my son to visit my parents shortly after she bought her new car. I don't think the car was even a week old. My parents took it upon themselves to clean a bird bomb off the roof with paper towels! WTF? To make things worse, my parents only buy the cheapest, roughest paper towels they can find. Revenge for me writing on their walls with crayons when I was a tot? Passive-aggressive jealousy because my mom's lexus is now 12 years old? Or just a misguided attempt at being helpful? Yeah, I know the answer.

I saw a lady just the other day with a BRAND NEW 5 series get out at the gas station and clean off the front of her car with the window squeegee and scrubber.

Ah yes.....the Squeegee wash! Normal in my area. That and the Palmolive and house broom exterior wash under the beaming sun! I Love it when I see that!

My neighbor has a new Camaro and he cleans that thing with Tuff Stuff and paper towels on a weekly basis!

Actually that does remind me I saw my neighbor washing her Nissan Juke with the rough side of a sponge last summer too.

Always so terrifying to see. You want to say something, but in a way people like that keep detailers in business.

I don't know why, but I always find it interesting looking at other people's swirls on their cars when your sitting in traffic,in the parking lots, or driving on the highway... maybe it's just me but besides noticing it, it really doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I could give a rat's ass if the woman used a cement brick to wash her new car.

Everyone knows old tshirts and sandpaper make the best buffing towels.

I was actually pumping gas a couple weeks ago and the lady in front of me had a newer model Acura TL. The roads had been salted and such so the sides of your vehicle would get covered. She proceeded to use the sponge side to scrub and used the squeegee to get all that water off. I just looked and shook my head. People like this just don't understand.

How I see it, people just aren't into things or they oversee the importance. Some folks don't like to keep their bodies healthy, some don't like properly taking care of their vehicles properly and the list goes on.

We all here at AG just found our niche..sometimes I wonder why i'm so into having a clean car? haha

That was like too perfect!

A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.

That my friend, is a great signature. Unfortunately there are no Henry Fords anymore (if he actually said that). Anyway, that pretty much sums up the "financial industry" for me.
