some company online are selling the same products at a larger bulk rate at 5 gallons or 25 liters. They cost better than the 1 gallon size and i will use that much product. any chance AG will start having 5 gallon size of meguiars detailers line soon?

I think I remember someone saying they won't carry them because they cost way to much to ship

Please share what transpired when you contacted the personnel at AG directly about this dilemma of yours?

I wouldn't want to step on any of their shoes. :)

That, and I would assume there isn't a huge need/want for them from AG members. From what I see there aren't many product type detailers on here, and they are really the only ones that would need that much product. Just my .02.

Likely most operations using 5 gal sizes would get it from the local distributor. Years ago I went to a Meguiar's class hosted by the local Meg's distributor, and he also distributed something like AutoMagic...he actually had product in 55 gal drums. I believe he had a delivery truck so must customers got those large sizes (5-55 gal) delivered or they picked them up, I would guess.

I agree and agree.

Luckily for me, my new next door neighbor is a dealer for Meg's Detailer line. First one I have found around here - so he can get me the 5 gallon jugs without having to pay shipping. WoOt!

How would I explain a 55 gallon drum of Fuzion? (does it come with a free refill?)

I always assumed the drums contained liquids? Any who, imagine how much 55 gallons of Fuzion would cost! 8oz was $175!

Well...theres 128oz to 1 gallon. 128oz x 55 gallons = 7040oz's

7040oz's x $175 = $1,232,000.00 :wow:

Sorry bud, but you're math for the Fuzion calculation is a little off. 128 oz. X 55 Gallons does = 7040 oz., but you get 16 oz. of Fuzion for $175 so, 7040/16= 440 X $175 = $77,000.
Hope this helps :props:

We're detailers, not mathematicians. And his number looked much more shocking. Lol.

:iagree: There is really not a need for them and we do not like chemicals to sit for a long period of time. But if anyone needs some specific you can always contact me.

I just went with rock012345's number...I don't own any Fuzion, yet! :)

Anyways, I'm headed in to the next room to look over my checking book now :bolt:

I'm a little disappointed they're aren't going to be 55-gal drums of Fuzion...I really think you should have one (open head) for Detail Fest and let people scoop out their own tin for like $75 a pop...it's kind of like going to the pick-your-own apple farm instead of buying them in the supermarket :p
