I will no be getting anything done today because THIS is quality programming and I don't want to miss a minute. Great work guys!

If I didn't have physical therapy @ 11 I would tune in. Just have to watch on you tube later

Probably not a favorite across the board but it is a rare car considering there were only about 8400 produced of all engine/tranny styles, 69 Camaro had 243,000 same stats.
Rambler/AMC wasn't known as the 'muscle car' so people stayed away and went mainstream.
Built in Kenosha too!
Still an amazing job for them to get this done and bring it back to life.

You've got to be kidding!!!!! That is amazing!!!! Great work.

Maybe a tie between the 1968 AMX and the 1970 AMX guess :dunno:

I'm going to be quite upset if I don't win. I posted before the format correction. Sigh...

I had the right year and make but wrong model for my original post

The AMC Javelin is a pony car that was built by the American Motors Corporation between 1967 and 1974 in two generations, model years 1968-1970 (with a separate design in 1970) and 1971-1974. The sporty Javelins came only as two-door hardtop (with no "B" pillar) body style, and were available in economical versions or as high-performance muscle cars.[1]

Javelins won the Trans-Am race series with AMC sponsorship in 1971, 1972 and 1973, and independently in 1975.

The second-generation AMX version was the first pony car to be used as a normal highway patrol police car by any U.S. organization.[2]

From Wikipedia

AMX was a version of javelin.

No matter who wins still had fun, what I think is amazing is the story behind this project. Hats of to all that have a hand In making one special Christmas for the son. What everyone is doing shows the true meaning of giving from the heart.
