Congrats to whoever won! Very good guess no matter whoever it was. I should have read closer when they said 2 seater LOL

The contest has gone on for 32 pages and even after the live feed, he's still the only person to have guessed it correctly.

The contest can't run forever.

Hell I knew the answer last night after the "floor shot" was posted. BUT kept it to myself be cause I HAD ALREADY VOTED sheesh!!!!!!

Finemess or CWallace hey you play by the rules and you still get beat... oh well there will be other giveaways maybe....

I gotta be more observant because I missed the part about it being a 2 seater, congrats to Italian Guy!

Its all good, for the fun of it! There are lots of ways to win here. Great group of folks.

Sigh....I am infuriated. Congrats Italian guy.

Congrats EyetalianGuy (Italianguy) use the Flex proudly, it's a major prize!!

Well crap. That was my first guess & then I changed to Javelin. Way to go Italianguy! Which flavor are you going to choose??

Once again!!!! Expressing absolute anger. 😡
I feel jipped. I couldn't have changed my answer anyways, one guess per person.

1969 amc javelin, AMX.

I'm not sure I understand your anger. The Javelin and AMX are not the same vehicle. While they share many similarities and even some parts, they are two different models. The AMX was not a Javelin trim level, it was a model all to itself.

LeMay Museum

Better link: AMC AMX: American Motors Experimental sports car (and AMC Javelin)

Based on the second link information, it wasn't until '71 that they became a combined platform. Therefore in '69 it was one or the other, but not both.

I think its great to see people giving this time of year...Wish people would give more year round but thats the world we live in...

Thank you, I stand corrected. I still feel jipped though.
This is my last post for this thread.

I guess "rare" means something different to other people. I'm not hating or anything and congrats to the winner and ofcoarse tip of the cap for the crew for going all the way out there to do this but at the time it was new, it wasn't a rare car, I'm sure you could walk into the dealership and buy one right away, no knowing someone and certainly not needing alot of money to buy one like a ZL1 Camaro which cost as much as a Vette per say.

I wonder how the rest of the car is going to look (interior and wheels)

Oh, BTW, does anyone know what the cool story was all about with this car?
I knew it couldn't have been a super valuable car, like a 1967 427 Corvette, because if it was, it wouldn't have been sitting in a barn, languishing for all these years. Whatever it was, it had to be one of those cars that was rare, yet fairly low in monetary value. No one would let a car that was worth 150 k or more just sit in a barn looking scruffy for 15 years.

Congrats to Italian Guy.
