Window Tinting

I use Tint World locally and have met owner and sister on many occasions. He use to be a Sunrise Cop back in the 80's. I wont use 5% limo tint as its normally a lower quality film. I prefer one that offers the best UV protection, lifetime warranty, and laser cut. I also prefer a one piece rear which is a pain on some cars due to curve of glass (think Vette hatch). Normally around 200.00 out the door and you do need to sign a waiver as below legal limits here in South Florida. Even something like 20% is illegal on front side windows.

One suggestion, set an appointment and stay as possible. Most the time they measure it on outside of car first. Make sure car is clean and understand it will likely come back dirty. Also understand some glass has little black dots or black stripes at the top of the glass and its a pain to have tint stick to the areas between them. It takes alot of time and sometimes easier to see other options so ask first ....

^ a one piece rear is a must have on any car. It can be done it just requires more time. The black dots i.e. dot matrix on a cars front and back windows can be solved by sanding them down to crate a bit of tooth for the tint to adhere to, or introducing a vinyl strip to the dot matrix and then applying the tint. Both of these methods serve to alleviate the white/opaque color variances.

I was looking to save some cash by doing myself, but kept wasting money on tint rolls.. It was frustrating me all to hell. But finally I came upon a site that wasn't shitty at teaching you. I felt so dumb cause I couldnt do the simple task of tinting windows. How to Tint Car & Learning How to Window Tint - Home helped me learn how to window tint. haha I'm new to this forum. How do i add pics of my ride and stuff like you guys have?

Hi, does anyone live in the Orlando area and have an idea on who would be the best window tint installer in this area? Looking for some input on personal installs and experience. Thanks!

Now im not sure if this place does tint, but you could check "407 Customs" (has of bunch of chrome rims in the window) . I know the deal with audio upgrades and exterior stuff so check them out
