@OP, are you asking if products cause streaking, or leave a hydrophobic film that allows the water to bead and blow off while driving. Either way, any product that doesn't contain oils, waxes, or sealants shouldn't leave any visible film, and should be removed easily with a regular glass cleaner.
I have been using the RainX debugger for the last 6 years or so and love not having to use my wipers most of the time. If I run out of it I will use the BG "Class Act" WW concentrate a mechanic friend of mine gave me. It was free, so it is the most cost effective washer fluid I have found.LOL ;P It cleans pretty good but doesn't compare to RainX WFs. I will probably try the RainX Deice this winter if we ever get freezing temps more than just over night here in VA. I will def try out a Rinse-less wash in my fluid in Spring.
The thing I don't like about the blue washer fluids, even the BG concentrate, is that they leave blue residue on/around the reservoir and the sprayers.
