Hahah never...

I really hope I'm getting the point across that I don't hate these products or want a return but I am disappointed that a new customer after doing a bunch of research and shelling out a bit more for what seemed like a premium product to receive something that looks like I might as well have whipped up myself.

It's the stuff inside that makes your car look good bro. Seacrest Out!

This is the great thing about Autogeek they will offer to fix any problem with the orders and will answer any question that you have about products that they sell. I have placed several ordersin the past and did get one jar of wax with a messed up label but I just took it off and the product was great inside. I understand your post and I hope that you can see that Autogeek will try their best to fix any problem that you might have. I don't work for AG and don't know anyone that does they have just been great to order from for the past several years!

I think this guy makes a valid point. whether you agree or not is not the issue.

This is a paying customer and Autogeek should simply take in his feedback and leave it at that.

anything after that is simply ranting from the OP.

let me add that if your complaining about a super high quality wax being cracked in the jar, you would probably be better off buying that silicone crap from AZ that you mentioned. Very high carnuba content, high quality wax's are usually all cracked around the edges as they dry. From swissvax, to dodo juice , down to the 35 dollar tub of DP Maxwax.

The products are mostly natural and its part of the cooling process.

You dont see that with turtle wax or other low quality cheap products most likely because they are stuffed with silicone and cheap chemicals so gigantic production goes fast and easily while being consistent from container to container.

now that I think of it, Mothers makes a good quality carnuba paste wax, and if you look inside that jar they add a note that states there wax in high quality and pure and because of this you will see cracking inside the jar from either the cooling process and/or shipping.

Thanks this is kinda what I was getting at. There's no ranting here if I was truly upset I would have returned this stuff but the research/reviews I've seen on the products speaks for itself.

I'm more than happy that AG is willing to fix the problem but I'm not gonna go through the hassle for something that's just aesthetic. I just wanted to know if anyone felt the same way.

And yet there's is no mention, instead I find http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/pinnacle-wax/8418-story-souveran-wax.html

A thread that makes it sound like this company is meticulous about not only the quality of the product but how it appears to the customer (hence twice poured) instead I get cracked wax a 50 cent jar and a sticker label hastily thrown on. Wheres the pride in their product?

I didnt notice any of this. It doesn't seem to cheap looking to me.

Maybe I just got the reject jar thrown into the wolfgang kit. Either way still expensive and still a poor impression on what should be a top quality product.

Yeah, I'm done arguing. Everyone's acting like I hate the products or something. I'm just saying for the money I spent it looks like crap. I wouldn't buy it from a store in this condition for this price.

As far as the straw goes it's not a little longer than the bottle its a LOT it doesn't close with the straw inside even "bent at the bottom"

And yes I cut the straw already I'm just saying I shouldn't have to...

What's so hard about cutting it then. Cut it and hush already, else send me your address so I can send you some cheese with that wine. Seriously, we've tried to help you. I'll be blunt this time. Be respectful, work with customer service or move along. You could just have easily been so direct about your complaints with customer service. I could see you being this upset if customer service didn't address your complaints, but at least give them a chance, or put a lid on it.

I actually almost went for that cause it looked neat but really I thought the reviews for souveran were better :/

Again I don't care if the packing is cool/hip/awesome it should just look like its worth more than 5$

Hell some of the crap stuff you get at AZ look better than this stuff. If you put a nice looking product like Megs next to Souveran the way I got it, on a shelf at any retailer why would anyone pick Souveran?

You're new here. You have some complaints, no problem, but be respectful, or move along. Learning how to express your dismay without the tone you've used above, in bold print, would go a long way in helping people to look at you and your posts as someone who actually wants help, rather than looking like someone who simply wishes to start trouble.

I actually think he had 11 posts when he posted this, still with the tone in his choice of words he's hardly off on the right foot.

Z33Love...I guess you are really serious about this huh?

One thing I will tell you then...do not buy any Chemical Guys products then, you will be really disappointed!

Is this your first wax purchase?

hoytman- I've been nothing but respectful and I've even done my best to ignore your previous condescending post. It's a forum, I'm expressing my opinion if you don't like it move along to the next thread.

First quality wax yes. Bought it for my 350Z (my baby)

Am I the only person who doesn't care if there is a bubble in the table of my $175 jar of Fusion? Or a cheap feeling container? Maybe I'm just ignorant, that's a very big possibility but I guess I've just never cared what the packaging looked like. I actually like that its not super flashy or anything. I kind of equate that with good craftsmenship I guess. When ever I have bought anything hand built, hand drawn, hand crafted etc. Its never been in fantastic packaging and is usually more expensive then mass production items. But still know its "the good stuff" so I just never think twice.:what:

Man, don't sweat the package - if you did your research (which you must have because you bought that wax) - enjoy it. All my waxes sit in a steel cabinet...the only time someone sees it is when I am waxing my ride. You made a good choice, I have a many waxes and all I care about is how they look on my ride.

You are not alone.

You are not alone.

Nope...YOU ARE NOT ALONE...

I just got my Lava from Chemical Guys...I looked, eh, the container is neat, but I was really wanting to run out and use it on my ride!!!!!!

I think it is a combo of a new premium wax user and what it costs that has ZLove upset...

Thanks, if nothing else I'm sure the results will be stunning.

shoeless89- Maybe we just care about different things, for instance the Droid Pro you posted from did you research it before you bought it ? Read all the reviews? Save up money? If you did how would you feel if when you got it, it arrived in a brown paper bag scratched to all hell and dented? Sure it works fine but you spent your hard earned money on something that looks like crap.

the first post asked the question... was anyone else disappointed with the look of the product for the price? I'm not gonna go through the hassle of RMA for visual appearance that's just stupid but I will voice my opinion that it's not what I expected a premium product to look like and asked if anyone agreed.

Z33Love,

I understand your post and I have received some products that the label are half peeled off. The labels are poorly printed. The first thing that come to my mind is "eww.. that sucks". It is perfectly normal for the customer to feel disappointed especially when you consider spending $95 dollars on a tub of wax. $95 is not a small amount of money. It is fair enough for you to have reasonable expectation.

When you buy a product, you are also paying for everything it promise to come with. It is one complete package. You do not expect your iPhone to come in just plastic wrap right? I still remember when I got my first gen iPod Mini I was so impressed by how nice and clever the packaging was. I told my friends about that positive experience.

Good manufacturers pay attention every fine bit of details. Customers would appreciate it and say "Thank you" when they receive it. When customers are out for the next purchase, they will take reference to past experience with that brand.

P.S.:
I got a tub of Japanese wax called Soft99 Authentic Premium.
The packaging is so so so beautiful and well designed.
You will see what I mean when I post the preview on it.

PPLd - Exactly what I'm talking about :) though you put it a lot better than I apparently did lol
