There are a couple things about this logo I'd like to comment on. This is coming from someone who has also done graphic design, so take the feedback for what it is worth.
It looks like you have a working knowledge of photoshop, but what you have done is just google a couple different images and blow them up and mash them together. The resolution is terrible and it is always going to look like you just stacked a bunch of images on top of each other. If this is the look you are going for, then I would recreate it instead of just using low res blown up images of a badge with a caduceus and adding your own touches.
The lines on the snakes are not spaced evenly. That also makes it look hastily put together. If you are going to stick with that theme, which I like because it ties the logo back to cars somewhat, then they should at least be spaced and the same size.
The lens flare is very 2003. I wouldn't include it on a logo personally, but that's just me.
The background texture on the text is kind of distracting and doesn't make sense in the overall design. I would stick with a solid color for that and see how it looks.
There are many "detail doctors" and other medically related detail names out there. It is an appropriate combination of professions. I've always liked the comparison to dentistry, personally. We polish and shine and occasionally fill cavities. We chew owners out for not brushing and flossing like they should and schedule another appointment in six months.

However, I am a strong believer that the logo should make it easy to determine what exactly the business does. The text on your logo does that, but I'm not sure the graphic. I would think about how to really make it stand out as an automotive related image. The caduceus is overwhelmingly medical and it will not stand out in their memory as a detailing company logo.
My other piece of advice is to consider all of the places this graphic will be used. Everything from being tiny on your business card to being embroidered on a shirt or cut out of solid color vinyl and stuck to your window. You've built something that will look flashy on your website, but how is it going to look on a sticker? Things like the outer glow, embossing, lens flare, and other photoshop enhancements won't necessarily work or even show up when you use this graphic in other locations. Just something to think about...
I think you are on to a good start. Find some higher resolution graphics to borrow or recreate them and that will help a lot.
It's tough doing the logo for your own business, isn't it?

I've never had a problem doing designs for other people, but when it comes to my own stuff, I always struggle with it. Mine came down to a hastily drawn swoosh which sort of resembles a car over my business name. I just couldn't come up with anything else. lol It works though and I've never had a problem putting it on a sticker, shirt, or business card, so that is what mattered to me at the time.
