May not be a better car but it is sure built by a better more fiscally responsible company.

Sure.
2012 Camaro 1 SS, Bluetooth, 6M.
31,500 + fees.
According to truecar.com(for whatever that's worth), this is slightly below dealer cost. They'll make money on hold back.
Are you thinking about buying one?![]()
I'm waiting on the car from a dealer trade. I'll post pics after I clean it up.Where are the pics?
Thanks, Keith. Yeah, I was surprised at the final sale price. That's a great deal. I paid more than that for my 1lt when they first came out, but I got the rs package for the bigger wheels, spoiler, and better headlights.
I figured that. These are the last of the '12's, so I'm sure they want to get rid of them. Good timing for me.If I could have gotten the SS for that price I'd have been all over it, but you couldn't touch an SS for under 40k when I was looking.
The grace period was 3 days or 100 miles. The car only had 7 miles when i picked it up. I returned it within 3 days(only drive 40 miles). Sales tax was not paid, contract was not signed(only the 3-day contract), but the financing was figured out. After thinking about it, they still can sell it as a new car.I'm late here and a little curious. The Mustang you got with the 3 day return privelige. Was this car new or a demo of some sort? If this car is new is the dealer going to absorb the substantial loss they are going to take and give you a full refund?
Have you actually returned the car and gotten your money back yet? Seems like you are over 3 days.
Are they charging you a rental, lease or depreciation fee?
Was the car actually delivered to you and all the transfer work done?
Was sales tax paid?
Around here it is not rare for a dealership to let a current customer borrow a demo car for an afternoon or even overnight. I have never heard of anyone buying a new car and being able to return it for no reason.
Thanks Mark. Glad this worked for you. Looking forward to new screen name and "Camaro Adventures" by-To Be Announced. :xyxthumbs:The grace period was 3 days or 100 miles. I tried out a stang before trying out my camaro. The stang did nothing for me. Just say'in...Chevy runs deep.
I considered a Mustang, a Camaro and decided on a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon. I got a four cylinder however Motor Trend Magazine put the V6 up against them and a Dodge Challenger and it out performed all threee of them two months now and will put it up against any of these three anyday. Here is a pic.

The Hyundai article was on the v6 Genesis coupe and the Mustang had a better 0-60 and quarter mile time. Out of these two the Genesis was more expensive as well. They also mentioned that the Genesis had a tract package added at the port to compete with the domestics.
