You Know You're An Autogeek When...

when you're chasing rainclouds to see how well the sealant on your windshield is working.

When you search the web for "great deals" and then want AG to match deal just so you send all of your money in one place......

You Know You're An Autogeek When...

You will slow down to 2 MPH in city traffic because you can see your cars reflection in the buildings while on the street

When:

What used to be a Flock of birds, gracefully migrating home from their journey south for the Winter
is now Watch out for Bird Droppings, and do I have any QD in the trunk?

What was a Beautiful Elm Tree, dripping with early morning dew
is now Pull over and get out a Microfiber before the waterspots etch the wax!

What was a puddle lined street, fresh from the Spring Rains
is now Put on the Emergency Flashers and drive down the center of the road at 5MPH.

What was a field of Fresh Spring Flowers, seamlessly stretching for miles and miles
is now Pollen!! get out the Power Washer and Master Blaster when I get home for a Quick Rinse.

....when you've got 4lbs of fresh king crab legs in the house but you'd rather wash your fiancee's ride because you just got your new foam cannon in the mail.

...you wash your fiancee's ride when you know its fittin to rain all weekend and you know you're about to play "Driving Miss Daisy" all weekend long, because her car will sit in the garage....and you're ok with this.

When you spend ¥125.00 (Chinese Yuan) to get Internet access on a trip to Guangdong, China just to log on to Autogeek and see what this weeks VIP Special is.

or

When instead of dreaming about Heid Klum in a Bikini on a Beach in Cancun, you dream about the entire AG Store going BOGO...

You move into a new place and before the moving van leaves you have all your AutoGeek stuff unpacked and stacked on the shelf...

....you test out your Pinnacle leather-care products (cleaner as well as the conditioner) on your work shoes just to make sure they work...

LMAO!!! I almost cleaned some sneakers with WG leather cleaner this past weekend.

I may actually try the WG on my kicks.

When a simple wash and wax takes like 4 hours, because you keep stopping every 3 mins to snap photos of every inch of the car , for before and after shots so you can post in "show and shine"

You know you're an Autogeek when you wash your car just so it will be clean to get rained on..

I got another one,

You know you're an Autogeek when you use your lunch break at work to wash your car even though you washed it 2 days ago...

When you hop in the shower and notice how the water beads off your hands from waxing your car all day

You think your TV has swirl marks

Both of these happened to me this weekend

Alex, you reminded me of one...

You know you are an Autogeek when you park your car in the furthest out parking spot to ensure no one bumps your ride only to have the landscapers blow each other off with a leaf blower right in front of your car.

That happens to me at work... :(

LMAO that is funny, you got a rubbing compound on the flat screen, making section passes

I thought of this one Sunday when it started to rain alittle bit...

....when you start washing your ride...and that sound you hear...is not water leaking from the hose hitting the ground....IT'S RAIN. But...you look up at the sky....and then say frack it and continue washing.

Luckily it only rained for all of 1 minute and stopped long enough for me to finish washing, drying, and pull in the garage.

you see ramdom cars with scratches and swirls and you picture how the car would look if you were to detail it. :buffing:

I think I've turned the old man into an Autogeek because he told me last weekend he spent a couple hours waxing the granite counter tops in his kitchen and bathroom with a bottle of Collinite 845 that I gave him. :dblthumb2:
