I agree with the article. We shouldn't wash cars. Actually, humans waste a whole lot more water washing themselves, flushing toilettes, and washing their clothes.

Personally, I stopped showering and washing my clothes sometime around 2001. My clothes are filthy, I'm filthy, and my cars are filthy.

Instead of wasting all that water flushing, just do what I do - use your backyard as a toilet. It's good for the environment - and actually what nature intended.

You don't. If you let humans die by 50 like they did for centuries instead of living to 70+ years and brought infant mortality rate up to around 50% like it was when dysentery and plague were a real problem we wouldn't have a water shortage anymore.

Wait, that doesn't sound good either... maybe we can all find a happy medium, and be more aware of excessive consumption.

Instead of washing our cars we'll just use sandpaper and steel wool to on Sundays so we can make the car look good. I read stuff like this and I seriously wonder where these idiots come from that write this. Are they being stupid on purpose or is it a learned art form?
