Your method of drying?

I have been using the Cobra Guzzlers for some time now but I have noticed that marring is starting to occur. I picked up an electric leaf blower at Lowes today and did a few washes and blows. I cant believe I have waited this long to try it. LOVE IT! Just a few touch up areas with the guzzler but I feel so much better not drying with a towel anymore.

Leaf blower, then poorboy's spray and wipe as a drying aid and a light blue Cobra super soft MF towel.

I seem to be the only one using a California Water Blade. I follow up with The Absorber, then carefully vacuum up trouble areas(mirrors, door handles, body trim) with the shop vac.

You actually vaccum the problem areas?

Whats a good blower to dry the car?

For me it was the cheapest one they had at Home Depot. I would love a Metro though.

After correction, dark paints and high end rides get this and the leaf blower (no need for any other drying or contact with the paint)...

I usually drive around, sometimes go get a soda, or visit a friend. By the time I return back to the shop ALL DRY!! J/K J/K hehe
While the cars wet I'll shoot Optimum Gloss Detailer on it and dry with MF/CWW

An electric Leaf Blower.

Microfiber Drying Towel

Then a once over with Optimum Spray Wax or Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax...:props:

LoL, I wonder what the neighbors think! LOL I got to try that, not a bad way to dry a car. Do you use the Microfiber drying towel before blow drying or after?

Use it after, the less you touch your paint, the better.

I use the sheeting method followed by cobra guzzler hd waffle weave using the blotting method or I will lay down towel flat use left hand to hold left side while I use right hand to slide on top of towel from left to right not moving towel I have a new device I only tried once its called a jet speed air dryer blower it looks like a mini leaf blower I use it for cracks, lights, wheels dryer saves time and my back worked really good.

I would NOT buy this one!!! I had it, and returned it for the DIC-20 (the rolling mobile unit) that you see pictured in my post above. The DIC-20 is $450 at AG, but if you google it there are many other places that sell it as well. For the quality of my input water (based on TDS level) the DIC-10 was not efficent, and did not work very well. I am EXTREMELY happy with the DIC-20 that I have now...
