Home Depot also carries the Zep products, I'm actually eyeing up that orange stuff as a tire cleaner, wasn't it Richie who uses that? Where has he been, anyway?

I have been using Zep Glass Cleaner for years now. You mix it a 1:32. It's a fantastic glass cleaner for the money.

It's a good tire cleaner. He actually uses Zep Purple for tires. I just bought a 5 gallon jug of Meguiar's APC+ for less than 5 gallons of Zep orange, otherwise I would still use Zep. :)

I get mines at Home Depot. Is it Zep that owns Armor All......or the other way around?

Off topic, but I read somewhere that Zep was acquired by Armor All.
Anyone else hear this?

That's a hell of a ratio! So its 1 part Zep glass cleaner and 32 parts water, just wanna make sure.

Sent from my SPH-M930 using AG Online

Yes, no difference then 44:1 when you mix Ultima Waterless Wash or 500:1 with a lot of car soaps.

Love their citrus degreaser from HD. Don't get it on paint though, as it says on the label :)

What ratio are you diluting it at??

1:1

it's not concentrated but i cut it in half because when i first tried it, i wanted to test with a weakened solution and it worked, so i stuck with it.

I was in Home Depot this last week and noticed they have very few ZEP products in stock now. I could not find the ZEP Orange Citrus Degreaser at all in any size. It looked like HD was replacing the ZEP line of products with their own HDX branded line of generic products. All the HDX products are in white bottles with orange HDX lettering.

Could not even find ZEP drain cleaner I have used before.

i'd be willing to bet...not a lot, but something...that Zep is likely manufacturing HDX chemicals for Home Depot.

there are other categories that have the HDX branding, right? like tools and garden chemicals? HD probably just made a deal with some of their suppliers to have the manufacturer's branded products made under the HDX private label house brand.

happens all over the mass retail market for pretty much everything so i wouldn't be surprised.
