The COOLEST Wash Sponge Available!

Well.........it was interesting. Been years since i used a sponge to wash. Very comfortable and totally safe to use. It did reach MOST places with ease. And the thing i liked was it really seemed to clean the surface. Now some areas, like the gap below the side bars and the rear bumper caps it struggled. I love my griots garage MF wash PAD. Would this replace them. NO. But for a sponge, this has to be tops.....

Glad to hear you liked it!

Funny I just got done using mine for the first time. It's really great. I'll never use a wash mitt again.

Dear pro_4x & Friends

I've never used a pad, but I have used the Bone and Incredisponge sponges.

Microfiber Madness will soon ship Incredipad, which is on my "to try" list.

Nothing is going to beat my Montana boar's hair brush on an extendable paint pole, though. It's very efficient.

Nick told me about this sponge and I pulled the trigger because I know nick is a very honest person. I used it two weeks ago on my brother vehicle and it is was very injoyable to use. Some wash mitts fatigue your muscle while this one almost feels effortless while washing. Thank you nick!

Dear kaiten & Friends

Yes, I'm concerned about it, but I use a foam cannon and two buckets (with a third bucket for wheels).

I probably have scratched the paint at some point, but the van is white and I can't see where I've scratched it.

The brush is presoaked by however long it takes me to do wheels, so it's soft by the time it touches the van's paint.

Plus, it's a big deal that the van is never really dirty when I wash it. I use a pressure washer to rinse it, then foam it up, rinse it again, then foam it for the soap, wash, and final rinse.

I started useing the boar's hair brush on my GMC pick-up. It's red and that make everything real noticeable. I pressure wash it first and use two bucket method and I've notice the boar's hair does put some light scratche in the paint. But as you said it make washing a large vehicle go much faster.

Gave this sponge another go around this morning. ITS NOT FOR ME. The fingers flaten out. And i noticed many missed spots on the paint. I finished with my griots MF wash pad.

I prefer wash media that gives me maximum surface area coming into contact with the paint to eliminate any potential of leaving streaks. The sponge "slices" do have one advantage of getting into areas a mitt or pad can't reach, but other than that, I see no other benefit from it.

Its like MF pads versus foam. A MF pad has one great advantage over foam pads.. .massive surface area coming into contact with the paint versus a foam pad. It therefore cuts faster and is more efficient. Same with wash media. More surface area means faster and more efficient cleaning, therefore a MF or wool pad or mitt will have the advantage all things considered.

that's one main reason why i haven't bothered trying one. this sponge as well as the caterpillar/dreadlock mitts. either a grout sponge, sheepskin mitt and/or a mf wash mitt works good enough for me...

Yeah its good to see and work very properly to washout the car.I never seen it before. Its really a good think and newly made sponge.I would like to use it.But a very nice cuts on it.all its nice.:dblthumb2:
