Someone that people would know, one way or another, how about a sports guy, girls modeling would be cool but let's go for more "klasse" though, no scanks...please! Offering up a rinseless wash to the celeb(s) would be cool, not a deal maker but its something. I would hope this person(s) would be into cars to some degree as well.

Genesis, let us know how your contact works out and then maybe share with the group. Its not that we're trying to compete with AG here, just out gunned there but we can do something and the cars and enthusists will not dissapppoint!

It's a long shot but I know jay roman from b96 maybe I can get them to come and broadcast at the event through their radio truck. I know it's not a celebrity but it would be music lol

You'd have to ask our host about that but it would be pretty cool to have a radio station there, surely they'd have some swag to pass along!

Things are moving along nicely and I should also pass along that our host and his buddies are big supporters of St. Jude also, these are some really good guys and also into Corvettes, so we've got that in common with the AG guys as it seems Corvettes are HUGE down there!!

I've only lived here since Dec of 09 but I've heard they a legends here in Chicago, plus they do those car insurance commercials too! Wow you guys are not only stepping up with a new place to have the event but possibly bringting local legends Eddie and JoBo, anyone else?

I work for 303, were out of Chicago. If the day works out for me I'll try and come out with some free stuff. Who knows we might have some new stuff for you guys to try by then.

We can't plan anything without a date.
If we are shooting for an April date, the weekend of the 19th is out because it's Easter weekend.
The weekend of the 26th starts Spring Break for those of you with kids (at least mine is off starting that weekend.)
So that leaves us the weekends of the 5th and the 12th.
What say ye?
 
Well let's see what our host has to say about the 5th or 12th. I know he said he thought people would begin to pull their cars out of his shop by early April but if I had to guess I'd say the 12th, I'm sure Jeff will chime in.

We don't have to rule out the 26th. Looks like my calendar was marked wrongly. :rolleyes: It's not Spring Break that week.

Well its better that its later due to the weather being better, hopefully but like Jeff told me, we can the event inside as well, its not like there isn't enough room and its VERY clean and organized too, stunning set up at The Car Cave!
