Car Pro Reflect - Awesome!

I can assure you that the extra pop that you are seeing will probably go away once you IPA wipe the surface.

I've used this product before and was impressed by it, but a lot of the pop does go away with a wipedown.

I cleaned the paint with Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish before taking those shots. It was squeaky clean.

Nice work! I'll be using Fixer/Reflect then applying UK to my mustang this weekend...

Didn't you just apply PBL coating then Synergy to that beast not that long ago??

I'm amazed at the color, clarity, and gloss.......

Would love to try this stuff but it would take a lot to drag me away from HD Polish...

Please elaborate!! I've been thinking about giving HD products a try. I've tried pretty much everything else and have narrowed my favorites to Sonax and Menzerna. How's the working time with HD polishes? Any dusting? Oily? Easy removal? Thanks in advance! :-)

PM Corey (CEEDOG) for some more tips on using Reflect. The trick is to use very little product (I'm talking 2-3 drops per section, no priming at all), use moderate machine speed, and clean the pad very regularly. Work the product for 3-4 passes to breakdown the product and then wipe away effortlessly.

In my experience with learning how to use Reflect, most "issues" came from using too much product.

I completely agree...

I like reflect. I love HD polish.

I completely agree again...there seems to be no match at this point.

I haven't used Cut yet...but Speed, Polish and Adapt created absolutely no dust.

Also, I use less product with all of the polishes and the removal is effortless.

It seemed like everyone that hadn't tried Adapt or Polish prior to yesterday at the Illinois detail meet, were all very very very impressed. Give it a shot!

Well now I'm feeling compelled to try it! Lol! Thanks for the input!

What's the difference between adapt and uno? After reading each one's description, it seems like they both cut and finish out well.

Uno is actually a discontinued product. Adapt has replaced it and is far superior.

Well that makes perfect sense now! Thanks for the heads up! :-)

HD POLISH is my favorite finishing polish. It's removed easily after 3-4 section passes, not oily at all, finishes excellent, but.......I do get a lot of dust with it.

Just used it recently for the first time. No dusting. If I noticed dusting I would switch to a fresh pad and the problem was solved.

Cleaned the pad after every section with a brush, used 5-6 dots to "prime" And 2-3 thereafter. Wiped away very easily. I enjoyed it very much.

Hey Zach!

What brush do you use to clean your pads?

Sorry for off topic post...

Thanks!

Mark, you probably have used Reflect, so why is HD better than Reflect? And is HD that much better than 4500?

Reflect finishes a bit better than HD Polish, but it is a bit more aggressive and requires more technique.

Hd works a lot faster than 4500 and has fewer oils to clean up.

The biggest problem with HD Polish is that it tends to dust very badly under certain conditions.

Michael nailed it. I haven't determined which is more aggressive, though.
