Congrats on the truck but on something that big, you really should coat it and forget it!
Don't say the "C" word. I was posting in a forum where a guy said his coating failed based solely on the fact that it wasn't beading and sheeting well...Loads of people chimed in on how they hate coatings and think they aren't worth it (NONE of them have ever tried a coating either). I simply wanted to offer the possibility that the coating was in fact there and that the beading and sheeting were not the best measure for protection and cleanabiliy. Holy Christmas, you'd think I showed naked picture of myself to these people...they were actually offended that I suggest a coating is a good thing. The best part is that the OP (coating user) said that while beading and sheeting failed his car was so easy to clean, but these people totally flaked on me for saying the coating could still be there even though beading and sheeting were poor...pardon the rant, but when I see someone suggest a coating I laugh, and wait for the ragging posts...funny that they are all from people who never have tried a coating.
I love a coating, and very much second Klasse's suggestion.
