This car was booked for a full exterior detail ans we wanted to leave the exterior up to the same level of the engine of this car...looking great and running great.
1. Paintwork evaluation.
Unfortunately, some areas have been resprayed and buffed before. By measuring the painwork we noticed that it has been severly polished before...some areas had no clearcoat anymore...too bad. We explained that to the owner and enhanced the exterior as much as we could.
Random isolated scratches
2. Paintwork correction
Because the car had been resprayed before, we could not use the same set-up for the whole car and this was a challenge.
In general, it was a 2 step process, cutting on a rotary using Megs yellow pad and Menz FG400 in some areas and others with PF2500 and then polishing/ finishing with Menz PF2500 or Sonax PF on RUPES.
We decided to remove the mirrors and polish areas that were neglected on the past...final result was uch better.
3. Front grill
We also removed the front grill to clean it thoroughly and replace the S2 badge for a bran new.
Also, the grill received a coat of CeramicPRO plastic, to rejuvenate (gave it that awesome satin black look) and also protect it.
and it looked like this
4. Tail Lights Polishing
5. All done
Special thanks to the owner for letting me and Eduardo to work on it.
