what's your weather currently like?

10-12°c with 120km/h winds oh ......and rain :cry::cry:
I hear some people had to be rescued from Mt Wellington, blizzard conditions up top, some hid in the toilet block, others got disoriented and were wandering around looking for their car. One time when I was up there I had ice form on my beard.

Lucky bugger :D yeah Tasmania got SMASHED over the weekend been #### weather since Easter.

Rain overnight, and all day till 3pm, about 4.5 inches, and only 13C - 55f all day. In the pic below, the water in the middle is where I normally cross the park with the dogs.

All good. Nice Strech of weather for my 4 days off. 80'S And humid. Except Friday. Had 2 pop up storms. One as soon as i was done drying the truck and the other before i could finish cutting grass. Good grief.

Flooding here, 4-5 inches of rain a day, for multiple days will do that. My 20km trip home turned into 55km, driving around floods and closed roads. Stayed home today, there's only one way open to get to where I work now, and it's a back road taking a main roads traffic, a normal 22min run would now take 2-3 hours. In the pic below, there would normally be no water in this view, this is farmland.

Someone sent a drone up, took a couple of shots. The flooding is on the farmland that surrounds my housing estate. The roads that weren't closed, were gridlocked this afternoon.

The rain has stopped, and we have a cool, but nice, day. The flood waters are moving slowly towards the coast. So many roads are closed, I had to drive double my normal distance to get home yesterday, but I was lucky, it was still less than an hour, for some it took 3 or 4 hours, and they only had to go 20km or so.

The first pic below I took a month ago, the second was this morning.

None of the houses in our area are affected, the estate was elevated above the flood plain. The farmers did lose some cattle, 5 or 6 I believe, they opened all the internal gates, but some of the cattle went the wrong way. Also thousands of litres of fuel would have been wasted, some people were stuck in traffic jams for up to 5 hours trying to get home.

That's good news to hear we had some really bad floods back a few year's and cow's were getting washed out to sea.. poor buggers half way to Melbourne to see DFB

We have been having a run of -3 deg C / 26 deg F lately. :(

At least we are getting some sunny days out of it though.

Really nice. Hot but very humid. Summer is slipping by! Don't get to see much. Always at work. Little bit on the weekends. Miserable at work with the humidity.

Hotter than Richard Simmons at a Boy Scout Jamboree.

92 out here on the end of LI is almost unheard of.
