Meguiar's D114 Rinsefree Express Wash Is Discontinued

Is that the waterless wash and wax (d115) in the bottle that says last touch spray detailer (D115)?
I had a Gallon of D114 delivered today, so I'm set for about 3 years, but was curious about the other meg's offerings.

edit: the pink detailer is D155, I typed D115.

d114 is the best quick detailer/waterless wash for most situations especially the first few months after applying a decent lsp. But I work for an older gentleman who collects classic cars (unfortunately none are completely unrestored) and while I maintain all of the cars weekly with d114 (all cars have dp maxwax for lsp) the occasions when my employer is having an event I ALWAYS use d155 last touch quick detailer on all of the cars because it adds more gloss than any spray wax or quick detailer I've ever used.

D114 is a much better clay lube so really unless you are maintaining cars that are indoors 99% of the time like I am, i'm assuming it could possibly end up collecting dust

Some people like RW/WW products
that will "leave something behind".
Conversely: other people do not.

I happen to be one of the people that
doesn't want their vehicles' LSPs to
be altered in any way, form, or fashion.
{To want otherwise, IMHO, would result in
my having wasted my efforts, time, money.}

Therefore:
Since Meguiar's D114 "doesn't leave behind"
any type of Waxes/Sealants/(other LSPs);
gloss enhancers/glossifiers; or any other
LSP-altering ingredients...it will reign as
my preferable RW/WW product.
{I believe I have enough D114 to last us
until we both are pushing up daisies.}

And...Yes...(again IMHO):
D114 is THAT GOOD!

Hey, can I use d114 as alternative to ipa?? I think I read some time back ur comment about the ratios. It was like 15:1, right?
can u tell how good it is as ipa alternative? I can't have ipa at my place, so I have to carry on either with this or nothing.

Yes...D114, @15:1, can be used as
a "panel wipe" to remove residuals
left from polishing/compounding.

I just bought 7 gallons.
Might be the last of it

I have accepted the unfortunate news with grace and decided to let this last gallon run its course. Found a place that had it for $28 per gallon, but decided not to get more because the stash would simply reminds me of the impending doom... lol

I'm going to grab some McKee’s 37 Matte Finish Cleaner & Protectant and try a 1:128 rinseless just to see if it could. I'm betting that it would do just fine. If not, hello M205 & PC.

Besides, how silly would I feel if Meg's announce a new & improved version comes SEMA/new for '17. lol

Well went to by some off the e of bays and price was at $38 a gal. For whatever reason I didn't check out and when I went to check out a few hrs later the price was changed to over $80 a gallon

Yes, it is that good (well, not $80 good). Not surprised about the price hike. Meguires had something very good and didn't promote it correctly.

No no no, they had something very good even they didn't know how good it was.

It still shows as "In Stock" on MeguiarsDirect.com

Probably just a lack of website updating but maybe someone from Meguiar's can confirm if they still have some available?

I ordered off of 4 sellers on eBay, all were cancelled because the "distributor" discontinued the product. I was able to find one seller that hand one on hand

They have them.
I bought 2 a month ago.
Call and ask if you are doubting.

I was sent a sample of D114 today with an order from another site

Hey all... post is a little old now.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of a replacement for D114 yet?

I was originally looking for it back in early October, but haven't found anything yet.
I'm currently using Ultima Waterless Wash until something similar to D114 comes up.

This was specifically produced to fill that void. Works exactly like D114 did. You won't be disappointed.

McKee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash is the only alternative to Meguiar's D114. Please check out my review of the McKee's N-914 below. I compared it against D114 too.

Review: McKee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash

I know a website that still has D114 in stock. PM me if you're interested. I don't want to post it here out of respect for AG.
