your "go to compound"?

I am a huge fan of Menzerna HCC 400. I vary the cut with pad choice.

My previous favorite was Megs 105 with my rotary however after switching to Menzerna I have eliminated my need for a premixed bucket of ONR for the dust.

Wolfgang Uber compound is my go to when I need heavy cut that finishes really well.

Menzerna SHC300, HC400, Meguiars M101, Scholl Concepts S3 Gold XXL, S20 Black, GTechniq P1, Koch Chemie H8.

We're close,
Menzerna SHC300, FG400, Meguiars M100 and M101, Scholl Concepts S3 Gold XXL, Sonax CutMax, Koch Chemie H8, Norton XtraCut and Lincoln's HiCut+ (Brazilian brand).
But the go to would be FG400, Koch Chemie H8 and Lincoln HiCut+. Sonax Cutmax I'm increasingly liking it, it cuts a lot in the first passes but not a long working time.

My go-to compound for correction is Megs M101 usually with a Megs mf cutting disc on a Rupes.
M101 does dust a little so I add a drop or two of D300 to the M101 on the microfiber disc.
Problem solved. I never thought of using a little UC instead on D300...gonna give that a try.
I just picked up some WG Uber compound and Sonax Cutmax and I'm gonna give them a try too.

I really like UC and UP on microfiber pads.

Menzerna SHC300 or FG400 depending on the severity of the defects.

Sometimes Megs D300 or UC, the latter more so for things like polishing by hand under door handles.

Do you guys use S3 XXL with mf pad? My favourite comounds are Rupes Zephir and Nanolex Heavy Cut. i have also used M101 ans S3 XXL.

Mostly foam but can be used successfully with MF or Wool too. If I need to go MF or Wool I would reach for stronger compounds than S3 like M101 or SHC300.

Scholl S20black on softer paint. Most times with Scholl Blue Spider. DA. 4-5spd.

S3xxl gold on harder paint. Most times with Buff n Shine MF Pad. DA. 4-5 spd.

If its heavy correction its foamed wool on Rotary with Juice Super C. 1000-1500 rpm.

What pads and machines do you like using the Zephir with? What is the deciding factor of when to use it?

I'm still learning it. I get expected results with it, but I think I still use too much.

It does smell fantastic though! Always a pleasure in that respect.

Rupes polishers and mf pads ans blow the pad after every run or it dusts. I think itq cutting ability is on same par with m101 nd finishes better.

Same can be said about S3 XXL, but it is so greasy and thick that imo its not the best with mf pads.

Nanolex Heavy Cut is probably not avaliable in USA but it is an amazing stuff.

Tood thing about m101 and zephir is that you can extend working time with water to get even more cut.

Are you using Rupes mf pads too?

How are you priming, and reloading them?

Yeah, Zephir cuts and finishes beautifully. However it does dust up a lot. I hate the noise of my compressor, so I never use it. Maybe I can make an exception in this case.

I have used Rupes, Megs and BnS mfpads. On Rupes mf pads i add small lines of product everywhere, then i spread it with finger and after that ill add 3-4 small drops. Reload with 3-4 pea size drops. Yeah compressed air is a must with mf pads or pile of pads :D
