I like to call Chemical Guys "carshow Chemicals" by that I mean they look amazing for the show but by the time it's over, so is the product. They have the initial POP but I've never had any luck with durability with anything from them. I wouldn't say I drank the Kool aid but I like to try as much as I can get my wallet on.Do either of you know where CG Jetseal stands compared to WGDGPS 3.0? Same price point so am curious on longevity or ease of use. Is CG all hype and people just drink the koolaid or does it actually work? I've seen lots on the WG but I'm curious

For me it's because I live in the desert and I'm always trying to find the best product that works in my environment but I always do want a standby product that's going to give that amazing shine even if just for a short term for cars that I do four shows and things like that so I try to have a little bit of both while still trying to keep my products minimalI mean there is a difference spending money on a product to test it vs buying it because everyone says it's going to save the planet..hence drinking the koolaid lol

If I remember right the Griot's that failed for you was the BOSS sealant though, right? Griot's themselves told me that the " sealant" in that doesn't last (see attached pics). They really shouldn't have called it a sealant - that's why I'm waiting to see what the All-In-One does is certainly they claim longer protection from it. I used the All-In-One a couple weekends ago and was very happy with the deep gloss on my black truck.Hope you get better results with groits sealant, it was one of the first to go for me in my AIO test

I love Griot's products, but I don't know why they would make the "sealant" in the BOSS line so subparYes, I used the BOSS sealant

I agree, EVERYTHING about the BOSS like is supposed to be superiorI love Griot's products, but I don't know why they would make the "sealant" in the BOSS line so subpar

If this stuff needs to be heat activated it's not going to do well in my testing. I did a fast application with a Megs yellow foam applicator. It took a while to dry if that's any indication.Yes, I used the BOSS sealant
No idea. If I see some on the Samples thread I'll offer a trade. Four test spots are opening up on the Sentra hood. I have some other short-term products to try there, but those should be done in 1-3 weeks.Do either of you know where CG Jetseal stands compared to WGDGPS 3.0?
Griot's themselves say 2-3 months, yet their All-In-One Sealant says "up to one year", so I'm just questioning why they made the sealant in the top of the line BOSS line inferior to the cheaper One-Step-Sealant. I'm not bad mouthing Griot's by any means, I absolutely love their products and have a garage full of their products lol. To me a sealant should last 6 months or more. If I want 2-3 months protection I'd use carnauba for the deep glossGuys not sure why some of you are not seeing longer protection from the BOSS Finishing Sealant. Along with 360, it's predominantly the only other AIO I use on friend's or neighbor's cars. I always Clay first but get a bare minimum of 3 months out of it - and these are cars that only get love when in my driveway - if you know what I mean. Always applied by machine with 4-6 passes and wiped off often sitting 20 or so mins while I work on the next panel. Are there longer lasting AIO's? Sure but this one is no slouch in my experience.

I completely agreeYour question is legitimate (re: BOSS Finishing Sealant having less protection than their stand alone All-In-One Sealant, especially when in the BOSS lineup your expectation is that you are getting the best). Maybe Griot's never intended Finishing Sealant as an LSP considering they have PolyWax (lots of durability), Best of Show Liquid, Best of Show Paste and Premium Wax. I don't know.... BTW I am not in any way disagreeing with your findings. I for some reason have seen more durability but have to say it is no where near as durable as McKee's 360. 360 probably would last 360 days for a well kept car. I've seen it last 6+ months on a really, really neglected car.
