What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Someone in my area has a CX5 in that colour look's good but can never really enjoy it because the lady is doing 80 in 60 zone.

Sandro from Car Craft Auto Detailing said Mazda's all models are crazy thin he had one on his channel and said it's the thinnest paint he's seen.

I haven't tried it at that level yet. Did they say if it was used as a drying aid at that point

Been awhile so I don't recall now. I'll have to wait for the next TCG sale and add it. Of course it's not one of the 20 brands on sale for Father's Day now that I'm curious!

Everything I plan to utilize while washing my neighbors neglected Acadia. The IK Foamer 1.5 and Griot's cannon have BH Touchless in them. The IK Sprayer has OPC at 1:3. ONR. Tuf Shine tire coating. Optimum Gloss Enhancer/QD at 1:3. The rest are labeled, obviously. Looking forward to a new vehicle to wash I hope to win him over and get him on a somewhat regular basis.

Put my second coat of FK1000p on the Dodge today. That includes the wheels.

That Cyclo is getting heavy.:)

Funny you mentioned finishkare. Applied the same to my dads truck yesterday and drove it back to him today.

How much WSR are you planning to drink while washing this car?

Lol I glanced over that until you pointed it out. Good stuff!

That's just his backup bottle.

The rest are rolling around empty on the floor............:laughing:

My understanding from other PA bourbon drinkers is that Weller is as plentiful as bottled water in Ohio. I'm on the wrong side of the state to go over and get it tho. I'm also down to my backup bottle of WSR. I'd like to try the Antique 107.

Its was mostly Carpro and NV! No surprise however. :)

Nv's clay lube/iron remover looks great. I might get a liter when my dedicated iron remover is all gone. Fireball's iron burn extra which is a concentrate. It works great 1:3. I have the 1 liter bottle for 3 years lol Can't get it anymore. Only in 4L.

Would love to try NV but we can't get it here

Engine wipe down with good ol Ech20 diluted 1:30. Soaked MF towel. Self levels.

Yes. Leaves an awesome finish behind. On all surfaces actually including interior. This was 1:30 or 1:35 dilution. Could be the lighting too adding some darkness. I’ve been using this stuff on everything lately.

Those are incredible results and I've got some mixed up at 5:1 for a drying aid/gloss Enhancer for my paint but I need to try in my engine bay

Can you explain to us the entire process you did

All I did here is take an Edgeless 360 ( I think it's that one) and heavily spray it with Ech20 at 1:30 or so. I make sure the mf towel is heavily wet, but not to the point it's dripping. I then wipe down all surfaces. This wasn't a full engine detail using a pw and degreaser.

Not sure if this qualifies for this thread but i found out today DIY is working on one of my favorite products, primer polishes! :D
