What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I gave this stuff a fair chance. It had great water to play with. Same conditions as alllllll the other shampoos. It just doesn't suds. Like at all. It does when you do the initial foaming with the nozzle in the bucket. But within 60 seconds there is already a noticeable decrease in suds and by the time you go in a third time it feels and looks like you're washing your car or wheels with water. Doesn't feel slick.

Cleaning power? Not sure. My car is never "filthy" so it didn't get a challenge. We didn't make it that far. Lol. First and last product of theirs. I'm a first impression kinda guy.

I too buy the new hotness, hence why my "silence of the lambs" room is so full

The struggle is real. I'm already trying to figure out how to get a couple of items I've had my eye on over in Europe back home when I'm there next month. Life was easier when I was just planning day trips... but my car was a lot less clean

You used quite a bit of it. How many washes did you do with that soap?

I hate it when a soap goes flat like that. The feeling of no suds feeling like water is frustrating.

Have you tried Meguiars Hyper Wash? Only requires about 1.5oz. per 5 gallon bucket and the suds and lubricity are strong points with that soap.
[its what I used in my profile pic]

Probably two washes of the entire car but quite a few wheel washes. After the disappointing performance on paintwork I downgraded it to rims. It sucks there too lol. I just kept playing with quantity used but I give up.

Megs D110 has been a centerpiece of the wash for years. I usually bounce between that and whatever else I tend to be playing with. I think I'm done with trying new shampoos. Hyperwash is still great even with being like what, a decade old now? Reset is solid, I always have that around, and for a wax-friendly snowfoam I have been a huge fan of Sonax Actifoam Energy. Not many people talk about that stuff. Red Bull fans should like it. That's what it was scented as.

Yup, Reset was the other soap I thought about mentioning.

I tried Optimum Car Wash [the blue colored soap] a while back and was disappointed with the suds, cleaning power & scent. People seem to like it but it just didn’t do anything for me.

Time to get up and go outside and wash a Hummer. I usually sort of dread having to do those vehicles but at least I already vacuumed the interior and cleaned the wheels & tires last night. Plus I won’t be going extreme and removing the roof rack this time… But I did remove the spare tire in order to do a little wheels off detailing with it.

Got a gallon of Tac Systems Mystic Bubble out of Canada. Best soap I’ve used to date.

That's the one I'm trying to figure out! They quoted me £35 for shipping. Problem is I don't want to haul it around for two weeks and I have no idea the real cost if I go drop it at a post office and ship it home myself.

I'm still researching however as I'm determined.

Indeed. It's been getting rave reviews and gets released in small batches. Last I heard, the guy behind it might be out of the scene for awhile and this is his last batch for the foreseeable future. I'm surprised this batch still has availability after 3 weeks.

Supposedly great shine, easy application and very durable.

If you were *truly* committed you’d pay the freight and have some shipped over!

"Out of the scene for a while"...did the heads of other companies put a bounty on the guy for making such an awesome product.

I bought the Nv duo and it was quite costly but after one application of Nv Jet I'm completely sold, can't wait to try Lustre

If anyone has any thoughts how to keep it absolutely secure through two more flights (one being the 10hrs home from Munich), I'm interested.

I've got the UK address needed to acquire (can't go to their location in-person) and I would assume customs isn't an issue...I just don't want a suitcase full of graphene sealant on arrival.
