I realize this is somewhat subjective, but is there a general consensus on what is the best, most effective compound and pad combination for paint correction using a 15 or 21mm DA?

Megs M101/105/D300 products as well.

Yea, the wool pads do seem to be one of the most common "go-to" as far as pads go.
I do like the M100 and M101 compounds. They cut great and in general finish pretty good. The downside is the dusting of either product. Especially when used with an aggressive pad such as a microfiber cutting pad. D300 on a microfiber cutting pad would be my choice if I was looking for an all around performing Meguiar's compound.
Sonax Cut Max would be my first choice at the moment. It just seems to be an all around solid performer with various pads.
CarPro Clear Cut is pretty good. It does dust but in general it is pretty good.
I have gotten really picky and generally like products that have almost zero dusting.
Me too. While FCC doesn’t have quite the cut as CutMax, it finishes better. I’ll reach for either, depending on the circumstances. These are my favorite. They can also be used on less aggressive foam pads(especially FCC) for 1-steps on harder paints. For heavy cutting its a Meguiars Microfiber Cutting disc and Sonax Cutmax or Griots FCC for me..
I'll use Wolfgang from time to time. Never had luck with 360...Nobody here uses the PBMG brands?

Started out using all WG stuff, including the trio of Uber Compound, TSR and FG. Nice stuff, easy to use...just too $$ given other options.Nobody here uses the PBMG brands?
