2017 Shelby GT350 and the Dr Beasley's NSP Z1

Mike,

Looking forward to your thoughts on wipe off on the Chevy you have scheduled for tomorrow.

Want to get this in the bag.
I may have a red Hellcat that may be fit for the Z1. If not, will push for Beasley coating! Owner wants coating...

Will know more on Monday.

Hello,

I used this on my boat last night and had to use the 530 towel as well for removal. The painter used automotive paint so I gave it a shot.

Waterman..

Thanks for sharing! That helps a lot!

Oh...oh...forgot one more thing.

1. CBeast
2. Pixie
3. McKee's Redline polishing pads
3. Z1
4. Gray supreme 530 microfiber towels for removal. (Found this towel to work best against sticky polish, not the yellow ones).

Nice work Tommy. Pretty amazing results.

Which pad did you use on the white Stang, the white polishing ?

Looks good my man !

Ford definitely nailed it with those new Gt350's.
Pretty wicked cars.

My brother has a Blue with black stripes that I did and coated with Kamikaze Zipang. The paint on those cars is so nice to work .

You have that right. Very sweet ride. I can't believe that Ford is going to stop making them.:cry:

Me Time..

McKee's Redline polishing pads----They are the orange ones.

John B...

Yes..Mike mentioned that Jim aka Dr. Beasley does read these posts.

Thanks Scott.

Really good stuff!

Tom,

How many cars do you think you can get out of a tube of it? Also, the thicker towel is the way to go as far as removal you think?

Thanks, Greg

I would say you should be able to get 4+ coupe's

I have no idea how many cars out of a tube!

I have about 1/3 left after one correction.

I'm sure we'll hear later on how many cars out a tube.

Tom

That makes sense with the product being so much thicker than most polishing products. However it does make the product more expensive when looked at from a vehicle per tube comparison.

"However it does make the product more expensive when looked at from a vehicle per tube comparison."

At first---It may look expensive. But for 40 bux a tube, I get:

1. Awesome correction.
2. Gloss, shine and sheen off the charts.
3. Go around car once.
4. AND a ceramic coating!

This is far, far better than going around car 3 or 4 times to get a ceramic coating done!

In the overall view---It is cheaper money wise and also huge time savings.

Tom

Very true. I think my comment probably came across more negative than intended. Typically with many polishes or AIO's, you'll get a lot of uses from a bottle. I know I typically only use 2~3 oz of product when doing an average sized car. Maybe less depending on the amount of correction.

In addition to what you pointed out, you now need fewer products as well. One tube does the same work as your polish, surface prep spray, and the LSP. I'm sure there are savings there as well.

Looking at the primer polish offerings from Carpro, GYEON and TACsystem, they are pretty pricey as well for a small bottle. But a little goes a long way, IME.

Has anyone come up with an official answer on how much Z1 is appropriate for a single coupe?

Thought I saw someone mentioned how many cars out of a tube....

Can't recall where. The forum is a big place! lol...

I'll give Victor a call and find out how many "standard" size cars a tube will correct.

I am in process of doing the a Z1 on a really, I mean really tall F150. This one blows away all the F350s on road!

I was told one tube will be just enough but was advised to have 2 tubes on hand for this huge F150 project!

Hopes this helps a bit.

Tom

Not that this is the answer...
But after using a couple other brands of primer polishes, I can see that little goes a long way.
You don’t need to do many section passes that will break down the silica resins in the polish.* Same goes for foregoing an IPA wipedown before adding an optional LSP.

*please correct if this is wrong
