First day using Bilt Hamber touchless.

Clean Garage. But they charge. I bought a 5 liter BH Touchless and 2 spigots with the 25% Flash sale. It saved me $18 and shipping was $17 So it was like getting free shipping. That's what I was trying to say Crack:)

Did a dumb move today. But might actually not be all that bad. I was condensing some Bettix bottles and poured a couple in my 5L Touchless.
Afterwards I realized one of the 16oz bottle was Reset! Crap! I was pissed at first and then started to think it shouldn't matter much.
If anything might actually end up working quite well. It's only about 14oz to 4 liters of BH. I will see how it works. No turning back now:wow:

So....was looking over my truck yesterday....which got MOHS EVO last November......and there was some type of fallout all over the gate. Not sure what it was, but it was fairly gritty. I have Touchless ready to go at 4% in my IK foamer....so a quick shot with the compressor and I blanketed the gate with foam. Allowed to dwell, rinsed off with the garden hose, and it was gone. A couple of mists with Gyeon Ceramic Detailer and a wipedown with a plush microfiber......and it was clean dry and slick....love this stuff

Welcome to Bilt-Hamber Auto-foam and/or Touchless! Will you try Surfex and AutoWash at some point

Actually, I bought Surfex first, as a replacement for Optimum Power Clean. OPC smelled a lot better, but Surfex is more versatile and a better value. Use it at 10:1 in my cheapo Home Depot sprayer, as well as my IK pump foamer.....seems to be similar cleaning ability to OPC at 4:1. Not sure if I'm gonna get the AutoWash or not...at least you can get that in smaller bottles. Touchless will be my pre-soak until I find something better

Yeah when one my gallons of Auto-foam and Touchless are done I've gotta figure out which one to go with I'm a big fan of Surfex, "Alien Kleen" could be going down

So.....today I thought I'd see if the product could live up to its name. I've not washed the truck in about a month, but since it's coated and I don't drive every day anymore, there was only a slight layer of dirt on the truck. I got out my IK Foamer....charged it up with air......and foamed the truck, allowing it to dwell for about three minutes. You could see the dirt in the runoff. After a brisk rinse with the SunJoe SPX3000, the truck was clean again.

Hit it with some Gyeon Ceramic Detailer, and it's so slick a fly couldn't land on it

I decided to give Touchless more of a challenge today - Subaru that has not had a wash since November of last year. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. Touchless could not cut through this dirt.

Did you pw or garden hose it off?

Yeah something like that needs a power washing for sure but if you don't have one a 2BM would be next.

The more I think about it, it shouldn't be a surprise considering the pressure from the garden hose was inadequate. PW would have easily taken it off.

Just a heads up for all with a pressure washer but I find AutoFoam to work a good bit better than touchless. Both great products and maybe it’s the NW grime but don’t sleep on AF y’all.

BH does say one or the other may work better due to different environmental fall out and traffic film.

Anyone reading that s thinking about which one to get, splurge and buy both. You’ll figure which one works best and focus on that in the future.

While you have both use the less lethal one during summer months.

Good to know. I thought I read that before. I have a gas powered power washer that works great. It's just super loud. Thinking of a getting an inexpensive electric I can just use for car washes.

Used BH Touchless again last night using a Marolex sprayer but this time a power washer. Worked great. The solution was saturating the surface and I really was able to get the Touchless solution everywhere with it. Cleans exceptionally well. I followed up with Ech20. Skipped the bucket wash.

Did you feel like it did a better job with the saturation/heavy lifting than with a foamer?

Dwell time? I saw Pan's video where he used the Marolex and the IK foamer and it wasn't even close....IK FTW! Check out the video

I was able to let it dwell for a solid 4-5 minutes. I did it in a garage where there was no light and surface was cool to the touch. Foam is probably better, but I think I prefer the Marolex honestly. I completely saturated the car until it was soaking wet with BH Touchless.

Yeah it's not even close with the spray pattern, no trick video here

I'm going to keep playing around with both methods and see which I prefer. Dwell time favors foaming. Either way it's an awesome product.

All BH needs is a great coating and sealant and they'd have a killer line. Touch-On looks comparable to Wet Coat. They need a better coating product.
