Rinseless Washes - 2022

A few random gallons of ADS Hero showed up today for sale on the ADS website. I was hoping to avoid another gallon but it sounds like it could be weeks again so I jumped on it. Excited to test it for myself soon.

Anyone on here been able to test it yet? Naturally all the YT reviewers have deemed it the best thing since sliced bread.

I did like ECO RW after using. I admit I'm no RW professional and most shy I have used seemed to be OK. I'm extra cautious to use it only on coated, lightly dirty cars. I admittedly always use the RW and finalize with a detailer to finish it off. ECO RW did well with Gyeon's Ceramic Detailer (yes, overkill). 2 weeks later and about 200-300 miles, and that car still looks pretty damn good.

ADS is supposed to clean very well (paint and wash medium). I'm curious to try it. No protection left behind for this one.

Ethos is now touting theirs as well...3yrs in the making I think they said.

I caved and bought a 16oz bottle of ADS Hero from The Clean Garage when I saw they had it in stock (thanks to the Guz's Instagram for the heads up). I've yet to not be very very impressed by any ADS product so I see no reason why Hero wont follow that trend. I missed or passed on the last ADS direct restock of it, and who knows when they're going to have it back in stock. I'd sign up for restock updates if it was an email and not a text message notification.

Not that it matters but it didn’t make Ec details top 5. Although it was no surprise ADS was his top spot. He did a lot of Beta testing.

Seems like Fenylab Pure v3 is a beast!

Eddie Colon. He’s getting pretty popular. Rides with the Guz… Jamie the Cleaner. Not sure about his opinions but enjoy his content.

Googled RR details… couldn’t find anything on there top 5…. Link?

Idrosave and Primus 2.0 look like winners. Being Primus 2.0 can be used as a Prewash and for contact bucket wash, I may have to get it.

You realize that the other components of the 3pH rinseless system (Preludio Alkaline and Acid) have been released in Europe, it's only a matter of time before we get them here in North America. Still waiting for a good explanation on use of Preludio from Reggy.

I think they're already here.

Preludio looks like an extra step not needed unless car is really dirty. At that point I'm not doing a RW.

I don't like to overcomplicate the process, and in some instances I see that happening with some of these products.

Not released yet. I have 3ph Wash from Labo but will probably give this a try

Idrosave is AWESOME

Have you used Idrosave yet?

I Have. It’s a nice product. Cleans well. Slick as baby snot. I feel all the new wave of rinsless are gonna be top notch.

Where Idrosave wins or loses is it leaves a lot stronger protection than most rinsless. Kinda like the wash and coat soaps or spray and rinse products.

I'm also always thinking about timing saving, even though I enjoy detailing my cars. I also have this weird issue with having too many products LOL. I thought about using Primus 2.0 as my pre-wash and bucket wash (being they added lubrication to Primus) and following up with Idrosave. Two products that can cover a lot of ground. I know Semper is their pH neutral soap, but personally have always liked using a stronger soap for every wash. I use Reset or Descale often. I just want a shampoo that deep cleans for every wash. I don't care about having a pH neutral shampoo.

I love Touch-Less too. Still have a lot of that left. Seems like Primus may match BH Touch-Less from reviews I'm seeing. I even considered moving back to a spray/wipe product periodically vs a coating. I know a guy that uses Touch-Less, Auto Wash and Hydra-Wax as a drying aid. Works well for him. Constant protection. No worry about unclogging a coating or using xyz topper etc.

This is where I am on the little blue car, but I can't decide on continuing this basic process (not necessarily the same chemicals) or going to a coating

This process works well, and allows for tinkering, which I find to be fun and entertaining, and I am not so worried about the buildup of the garbage "LSP" that the touchless tunnel wash applies during the winter, which seemed to really do a number on the coating on the big car in just a few washes
