Pan the Organizer product line...let's discuss@

In the end that's really it for me. Somebody might have the BEST product or service (and jury's still way out on that here) but if I find someone associated with it (the owner, pitchman, whomever) just really rubs me the wrong way (like Pan) then I won't buy it. It's that simple. It's not like these folks are selling oxygen or something I NEED to survive and they are the only source, it's fricking car polish stuff. Like anything else there's a competitive market so even when I knowingly turn away from something I might believe IS the *best*, for whatever reason, usually "next best" is more than good enough.

So, unless I missed something fundamental, here we have one of the two owners of a “detailing supplies” company, who apparently sells the products of a third party who is not an owner of the company, and the owner of the company is reviewing the product of the non-owner, which the owner sells, and as if that’s not enough of a conflict of interest, he feels the need to use clickbait like this?

Wow, just wow

Oozing integrity from every pore

But since there are 100 other people doing detailing product reviews on YouTube, you have to have headlines like that

Unless someone redrew the city and state boundaries between Illinois and Alaska recently, and I didn't hear about it, then no, I don't live in Chicago

Just a bit further northwest

I need to win the lotto so I can officially market "FrankenDetailer". The bottle will be shaped like his head and translucent green w/ bolts molded on each side (better grip)...what do you guys think, it will be THEE BEST, most versatile spray sealant/booster in THE WORLD

Well not actually a newbie. I've been a member since 2016. Didn't really post a lot for several years. My account was reset with the new site.. So I. Started back at zero. But last couple years I started getting deeper into detailing so started spending more time here.
But no I have not heard of your home brew.

That's interesting to hear. You like it a lot better than Pure EVO? I applied Pure EVO for a second time on my car I liked it so much. Curious to hear why you like ADS' coating so much better.

I do like ADS' Amplify. Guz pointed me to that one and I've really liked it. I've just about used up the bottle and I'm really torn. I want to try NV Nova Boost, simply because I'm curious about NV's products, but at the same time Amplify has worked so well for me. Hmmm.....
Being an Aussie, I love NV products and have used the majority of products from the lineup. So, believe me when I say Amplify is the superior product. Boost v1 is an acquired taste, Boost v2 is more inline with other Si02 spray sealants/detailers, both versions are nowhere near as user friendly as Amplify.

It started by using Wolfgang Uber RW, 2 oz and 1 oz of Klasse Sealant Glaze with a gallon of distilled water (removing 3 oz of the water, ofcoarse) Recently I used Gyeon Q2 ECO wash as the RW with equal success

So is this used as a drying aid. ?
I also have a special sauce I use as a drying aid. It’s 100 ounces of distilled water, 25 ounces of Optimum Instant Detailer and 3 ounces of Optimum Car Wax. Use it at each wash.
Cost is about $15.00 per gallon which is pretty low considering bought products used for drying aids.

I'm getting tired of these YT Detailer brands honestly. Give it a rest already. I have no interest in some YT detailer's product line, sorry. None of these guys have a chemist and manufacturing plant in their facility. They likely hire a contract chemist, team up with some chemical manufacturer, and they ask for xyz product. The manufacturer likely makes up multiple blends, the YT'er tests them and gives final stamp of approval and slaps their name on the bottle. EC just spent the last year saying every RW is "GOATED" and then he comes out with his own after all the others do.

Gyeon actually will make a product line for you per their website. So all of these guys are essentially just slapping their name on variations of big chemical company products.

Personal opinion of Pan aside, I'm sure his products will be very good. I'm sure quite a few of these products from YT detailer work just fine. However, the differences are marginal. Diminishing returns here.

I'm sorry but I'm out

I've heard of this other guy but I felt like I was at a horrible comedy club mixed with QVC. Whomever the other person is mentioned has a stake in this too

I heard that Jimbo has his own line as well, it has to suck because he's a fraud, straight up, never liked him at all

FWIW I unsub'd to Pan's channel too....

Jimbo is terrible. One of the worst IMO.

I didn't watch the whole video, but they describe it that way, exactly. That's no different than the way all the other "boutique" sellers do it, from ADS to the store brands on this site, and countless others. So I agree with your critique, but if that is the only criteria, then you are lumping a lot of beloved products/brands into that critique. I think it was earlier in this thread that I recounted the story of a boutique brand being "outed" as produced by a major blender, and the defense was "sure, we started with the products from that blender, but then we worked with a chemist to improve them using more expensive ingredients, etc." Make what you want of that.

Or what about Adam's? They bought their blender (B&B), so I guess that means that Adam's is a "real" company since they now have a chemist and manufacturing plant (never mind that Adam sold the whole company recently).
