What did you do today non-detailing related?

Chilly, those pictures are amazing. I hope to see them from Alaska some day.

My wife’s aunt and uncle bought a house there a couple of years ago and decided they were just going to live there full time. It’s been a year and a half. I cannot wait to visit. I’m afraid I won’t want to leave.

Where are they located?

Let me know if you come up

Took my g/f's Cruze to the touch-free wash again but this time NO rain and none in the near future. Sprayed the tires & wheels with a mix of Sudz lab tire cleaner and Griot's Garage Citrus degreaser, 2 rounds of it while I was in line to get in

Once home I dressed the tires w/ Griot's Garage Black Shine tire dressing, something I hadn't used in a while. It goes on thick and kinda glossy, so I leveled it down after 15 minutes, now it sits overnight, should be fine by tomorrow

I believe they’re in Palmer. We definitely will be visiting, as having a place to stay sure makes it easy. Just trying to iron out when.

I haven’t used GG Black Shine, but I do like their Black Satin. Application is especially nice for A/T or M/T tires with aggressive sidewalls.

I have to go and buy a new power board today. A long explanation, but I think you'll find it funny. As I went to bed last night, the cat was sitting on my bedside table looking out the window at the rain, but outside the window was one of my dogs, Buster, if he stands on his hind legs, he can just see in the window, which he does, and gives Rocky a massive jump scare, and he knocks everything off the bedside table, including a glass of water. I get up to pick everything up and notice that water spilled on the power board, as I reach to turn the power off, everything goes off all by itself. So I pulled the plug and went outside to check and reset the breaker, in the rain, at midnight. I know it will probably be fine once it dries out, but for a few dollars, I'd rather get a new one.

I would call that a power strip which is splitting hairs but the power strips i have a on/off switch which also doubles as a circuit breaker. So ours would have just killed the power to the individual strip.

Awesome! I’ll send a pm, but again we have to decide when. My son is a bit young still.

Let him get big enough to remember stuff

The old one did have a circuit breaker, but it didn't trip, an even better reason to replace it. I opened it up yesterday and it was still wet inside, so that ones going in the bin.

Got this for the trunk. Was going Husky but the didn’t make one in the X act contour line. The material the use in this line is. Like a foam rubber. Their line they do make it in is the Weather Beaters which is like WeatherTechs. Not fan of that material.

Was going to order a cheap maxliner one just because it had good reviews and softer and $70

3D maxpider has been a floor mat brand I’ve been interested in as a lot of guys at the Camaro forum loved them. Wasn’t gonna buy the trunk liner at $130. Looked on Flea Bay and actually found a great deal… open box for $80.

Not product. Light weight. Waterproof (dog peed on it while letting it sit flat). Has a seem to lift for spare area (car has no spare ). Nice look and feel. Will be buying for next floor mats

That's the Falcon RTV isn't it? Lifted, 2WD but with a locking diff?
Yep! 100% it's a Green Top Barra so LPG only which sucks a bit the mainland has more LPG servos i was told by a mechanic.

It's nothing special was bought back in 2017 for $10,000 by my dad i think they did get a little done over but that seems to be his luck anyway,

I have been cleaning it since 2017 but I recently retired from doing as I was not getting a thank you and was always told not to touch it, it's just a car etc, etc.

A bloke down the road got a mint deal on a silver one but tub tray his is petrol paid $6,500 and FLOGS the guts out of it.
