Labocosmetica 2ph system...Alkaline & ACIDIC, questions

Love Descale. Cleans very well for me. Lift was meh. Reset is still my favorite shampoo.
I agree with all of this, Reset is THEE benchmark without a doubt, Bilt-Hamber AutoWash and Feynlab PURE wash are right there though

The guy showed 1:50 for summer/1:30 winter for the first pre-wash, is that oz or ml's

Hey Crack or Hobbit, what's your ratios in foam gun/cannon or if I put it in a 1000ML Kwazzer spray bottle for the pre-wash products

Also, is 1 oz of Semper enough for contact wash and 3.5 gallons of water

Purifica:

The say 1:5 to 1:10 I. Foam cannon. Haven’t used this way. In pump sprayer it’s 1:200 but I do 1:150.

I haven’t used Primus do to open gallons of AF and Touchless.

So in a 1000ml Kwazzer how many ounces of Labocosmetica?

Primus 2.0 and purifica gallon labels. Dilution ratios on the label.
Mind you, reggie cox now recommends no lower dilution than 1:10 ratio needed for primus 2.0.

Example 1:10 in foam cannon or a sprayer means 1 part soap to 10 parts water. 1 oz soap to 10oz water. soap.

I think you may have that reversed there.

Sorry I’m American I don’t do ML. I would try 30oz water to between 1/8 to 1/4oz of product. of product. Guessing 10ML….

So no more 1:5 to 1:3? Also in foam sprayer that dilution is way high. For foam and regular sprayers 1:100 to 1:200.

A sprayer is the nebulizer dilutions.

I'm American too, just too lazy to convert how many ounces is 1000ML

So 1/4 oz to 30 oz in a sprayer, seems light

Answers in video. Not sure where you are getting those dilutions. I have watched many videos where reggie would mix primus 2.0 in a regular spray bottle or ik sprayer for pre spraying at 1:20- 1:50 etc.

I don't know if today is Bays day, but if you're trying to get 1:30, that's a ratio, so it doesn't matter if it's ounces or ml, it would be 1 oz product to 30 oz water. Not sure what the markings are on your Kwazaar as I don't have one, but if you want that ratio, and it's got a 1 liter mark (33.8 oz), fill to that and then add 1.13 or 1-1/8 oz product (presuming there is head space).

(1 liter =33.8 oz, 33.8/30= 1.127, 1.127 x 1oz= 1.127 rounded to 1.13 or to 1.125 (1-1/8).)

Opie also posted this to help, but since you guys aren't talking, I'll quote it so you can see the vid:

My Labocosmetica order of the entire 3pH system doesn't come in till Monday but I'll be using Semper tomorrow for the contact wash as forum member Brr sent me a bottle with more than enough in there

So I guess when I do use either of the 2 Labocosmetica pre-washes it sounds like all I need is basically 30 oz of water and 1.25 oz of their soap, that's crazy

I've been using 3 oz of Bilt-Hamber Touchless with about 30 oz in the foam cannon at the Bays and the same in my Griot's Garage foam gun and IK Foam Pro 12, the latter being 1 gallon of water to 3 oz of Bilt-Hamber Touchless

I'm looking forward to Semper tomorrow, sounds like 1 oz to 3.5 gallons is enough

I think you're mixing apples and oranges there on the dilution, since foam cannons and foam guns dilute what you've got in the cup, I think you're going to have to go to about the same as you use for the Touchless, which is the 1:10 that Opie suggested.

Thank you

I just started using a foam cannon since becoming a member at The Bays and it seems 3 oz to about 32 oz, forgot which foam cannon they use but that ratio with Bilt-Hamber Touchless works great as it's more runny but not too much and the paint always looks great. I'm going to try Purifica and the other one that way as well (can't remember it's name I'm new to this still) and see how it goes, expecting about the same

Thank you for your help here

Purifica can be used as a surfactant wash in a foam cannon at 1:10 or 1:20 dilution. Fwiw i believe in that instance primus 2.0 should be used instead.

Where purifica shines is obviously as a limescale deposit removal, either in a sprayer at 1:30 followed by rw or ph neutral wash soap. Or for heavy removal use 1:30 in sprayer leaving time to dwell on surface then followed by purifica in a bucket wash at a level of 1:400 to 1:100 depending on level of limescale deposits.

As reggy cox always says about dilution ratios, "if you dont know then start low".

I generally use Primus 2.0 at a dilution of 1:80 in a garden sprayer. If the car is especially dirty than I use 1:50. Something I'm going to try is hitting the lower areas with a small trigger sprayer using a stronger dilution of 1:20. Primus 2.0 works extremely well just spray on, let it dwell for a few minutes and rinse it off. Then proceed with a rinseless or regular wash. Doing the pre spray with Primus will usually get the car 85 to 90% clean which makes the contact was much safer.
