Hello Everyone and Happy New!

My name is Rosie, I live in So. California with my 4 Yorkies.

I have being reading this forum for about a month and half and it has been a big eye opener to the world of detailing, you guys do amazing work. I had no idea how much work I such have been doing to take care of my cars....lol

I say "car's" because in my life time I have had 6 different car's but the one I have now has been the longest I have held on to one and the worst looking car I have ever driven, but still love it. I have a 2004 Black Mitsubishi Endeavor with real bad paint problem and don't know who to turn to as the company refused to fix it and the court said they did not find them at fault.

I had given up on my car and had not let anyone touch it for over a year, it was washed and waxed last summer.

I have learn a lot from all of you that it has given me some hope, I have started to try to prepare the paint for what ever will need to be done to save as much of the paint as I can. I placed my first order with AG this week and look forward to putting them to use.

So I look forward to getting to know you all and hope no one gets upset I broke into the boys club. :o

What did you get? I been here for a couple months and already I have learned so much that I want to start my own business maybe in a year or two. I find detailing very relaxing and I love how a nice finish on a car looks.
 
Welcome Rosie, like I told you before they guys are always willing to help teach someone and help them learn a better way to detail. All you have to do is ask, and if you need any further assistance we have several techs on duty during the day at the office. Just give us a call.
 
Welcome! I always love to hear when a lady is interested in detailing. Not to sound sexist but it is a rarity.

Whatever you decide to do with the Endeavor rest assured there are experts on this forum that can and will help any way possible.

I had been lurking for months and months prior to posting and I was and still am impressed by the helpfulness exhibited here.

Do you have any pictures of the paint problem?

It's not total "Man-land" we have a couple of gals here that share the same art, love, obsession, compulsion, madness, etc.. lol j/k Glad to see another Californian to share the fun of AGO. Hopefully you find all the info necessary to correct your paint problem!!:props:

I read your thread on your job hunting and wanting to start you own business, I think thats great and I wish good luck :props: oh I can't think right now ...lol but you know what I'll post it when I get it because I'm going to need advice to make sure I have everything I need to do my first good wash, clay....and so on.

Thank you, I came here out of need to learn now I try to tell my females friends about it and they don't want to learn:dunno: I don't understand not even my sister that has the same car as I do but in Blue. I told her your car will be like mine if you do not clean the paint and put good protection, but not interested :bash:

Yes, I took some about a week ago when I notice another issue going on inside the car... I post later.

Since this is all new to me I did not know they also had classes, so I will look into that. Thanks for the information :props:

Awww bless your heart... my 4 dogs are my life thats why I got to get their ride looking good.
 
Welcome! I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say...you don't have to be a guy to detail!

What exactly is wrong with your paint? I skimmed through the posts and I didn't see an explanation. Maybe we can help?
