Correction:

PC XP Speed 5 = 4750 OPM which should be close enough to the Megs recommended 4800 OPM for the MF disc.

Thanks for looking that up Mike. I know that most people will tend to think like this,

If a little is good, more is better...


And that means they'll bump their DA polishers up to the highest speed setting but I would suggest that Jason Rose and his team have done their homework and to follow the manufactures directions and give the "System" a chance the way it is formulated and intended to be used.

I think Jason Rose and his team at Meguiar's really did a great job of sciencing out their approach to releasing this system to a online team of reputable detailer to test and really put it through the wringer.

This resulted in getting tons of feedback from a wide spectrum of people with different backgrounds and diverse approaches and techniques for buffing out cars and it's this kind of unhindered feedback that will help them to continually improve this new system.

I think it's very safe to say that we will be seeing some changes, improvements and even additions to this new paint polishing system into the future.

I am torn on what to buy..should I buy the 5" pads for my original PC or should I get the 6" pads and use this system on my Flex 3401?

I just had a thought occur to me. I wonder how this system would work with a Dynabrade DA attachment on a rotary buffer? The orbit diameter is larger (3/4") so the affect on this system's effectiveness would be interesting to experiment with.
 
Excellent review sir! I suppose I'll pick this system up too. Don't be surprised if I'm pinging you along with Rasky and Dana :). I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with the reviews.
 
I will give the compound and the compounding pads a try. At the moment I am waiting for some other microfiber pads.

I'm sure Kevin Brown has dabbled with that combo as he's both a die hard Dynabrade and MF guy. He'd be a great source for info.

Rasky's review is great and I have also found them to work great on softer surfaces like plastic too.
 
Warning!!!
These pads correct paint easily, and are machine washable.....You guys better get yours quick cause I'm gonna put in a HUGE order!!! ASAP :hungry:

I'd like to know that too. I'd also like to know if AG is going to offer a kit without a polisher....i have 2 DA's already so i'd really just like a starter kit with something like...2 5" pads and 2 3" pads...and then the D300 and D301. Orrrr maybe make a 'build your own kit' option ?? :dblthumb2:
