Both pads will have their purpose. I don't plan on removing either from my supply any time soon.
Exactly!!!
This was interesting Chris....I actually did two test spots on a black 2005 Passat last night. One side with Surbuf/M105 and the other MF/D300. To keep things equal I used both on the PCXP, Speed 6. With the Surbuf I used light pressure to keep the fingers from curling, on the MF side I used moderate pressure....
After inspecting the areas the D300/MF side actually appeared to have removed more defects, but it left the finish a little "foggy" looking. The Surbuf/M105 side had several RIDS still showing but the finish looked more black. This was the exact opposite of what I've experienced so far and it just goes to show you not all paints are the same. The speed 6 may have had something to do with how the D300 finished, I will have to go back this weekend and try it on the recommended setting.
When I have time to edit and load up the video I'll post it here. Probably not until next week though.
