It was a nice sunny day here yesterday and thought I would try out a few of my new products on my 2001' Black WS6 TransAm.
I brought the vehicle outside and it was pretty dusty:

So I broke out my 3 bucket wash system (Wash,Rinse,Wheels) and my foam gun and fire hose nozzle, and the OptiMitt for my wash media:

I've been hearing alot of AG forum members saying that DG901 is a great car washing soap,so I went up to my local NAPA and picked some up.I have at least 10 different car washing soap but I wanted to give it a go:

Oh,I forgot to mention I would be using my CR Spotless water system for rinsing only with this wash session:

For those that don't have one of these, they work great for keeping the water hose not binding up under the tires:

I filled up my rinse bucket and then filled up my wash bucket half full and added 3oz of the DG901,then filled the bucket almost full:

This DG901 smells great (Cherry) and foams like crazy. This was the foam I got after adding almost 3 gallons of water prior:

As I mentioned,3oz only of wash soap:

I then added a couple of ounces of DG901 to the foam gun,It did NOT foam like some of my other favorites in the foam gun but I think that's all concentration sensitive:

Since DG901 is PH neutral,I washed the car down with the OptiMitt and did not rinse until the car was wash complete:

Then I rinsed the vehicle down using the CR Spotless system and dried it off using my new Metro MasterBlaster:

Here is a close up of the CQuartz layered finish after using the DG901,CR Spotless,MasterBlaster for my process:

Haha! I was not sure what to expect in this thread, but awesome use of the Metro Blaster, that thing is so sweet.

Looks great Chris! It's a true pleasure for sure to be able to rinse with the CR and dry with the Metro MB (especially black)...:props:

- Welcome to the NO towels allowed club~

Nice ride! And I noticed the sticker on the hood. I bet that thing screams. :props: And btw, I envy your set up. :D

I do 98% of all my drying with high speed air. The last 2% is what I find near a taillight or an air duct or molding.

Gorgeous work my friend.....:props:

Wow great work. It must be my hard water, but I can't get 901 to foam hardly at all. :/

875 HP?! nice!

i love the DG901. try 1 ounce of 901 in the bucket instead of 3 ounces. works great still and saves product.:props:

I just gained a new respect for you, sweet car and love the license plate :)

Not ONE water spot was left,NOT ONE:

That's sweet! That's a clean and sweet looking car. It must be a real head-turner.

I'm in the middle of setting up a home water distiller I picked up from my a local craigslist ad. I plan to use it for the final rinse and hope to achieve similar results to what you're experiencing. Have you tried letting it sun dry? To test how good it is at minimizing water spots.

Bad A$$ ride, Chris!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my CR Spotless, too! Hook it up to a pressure washer, even better! You'll also get more uses out of the resin.

Looks incredible Chris! I LOVE that beauty.

Also glad to hear your enjoining the MB! NO TOWELS ALLOWED Im the MAN

WOW! Very cool! Looks great! Where are you in WI?? Let's go cruising! Do you come out for the Car Craft Summer Nationals in July??

Chris, awesome clean up job on your amazing T/A. I've been resisting getting a blaster so far as I've just been using my leaf blower...but I don't get it dry like that! Wow.

leaf blower is not even close ! the blaster is insane. I have one as well.

I personally like to dry the car 95%, than I finish off with OPT instant detailer and a plush towel. :)

great thread as well as the pic's you took. Your car looks great.
