I feel like 85RD on a MF pad defeats the purpose if the product.
I second that because I think the pad is too much for the product true intentional use, but give it a try and let everyone know how it turn out.:iagree:100%
Somebody will come up with a product that finishes down with a MF as good as Menzerna 85rd on a foam finishing pad. Optimum's new finishing polish comes close in my opinion. It will happen. MF pads are here to stay but the challenge remains the finishing step.
I wonder if the D300/301 would work on a lc ccs pad?!
i just used mez 87mc with megs 5.5 micro pads at bobby g's suggestion and got a finish close to glass. will continue to use it to remove slight micro marring and not have to worry about cutting off too much clear coat.

::iagree:Here's a 50/50 picture of a Jaguar I did I still have too do a write on this car but this gives you an idea how well the MF system works .I love the MF pads!
That being said, MF material is more aggressive then the foam on a finishing pad, so if the best possible finishing is your goal, it's going to come from foam not MF.
Just my $.02
Wow, sound good! i will keep this combo in mind! Which car did you use it on?

Hi,
I'm thinking about getting the DA MF Pads and using them with Menzerna's PO85RD 3.02/PO106FA
any one has any experience using these pads with other products rather then Meg's intended compound/wax that comes in that category?
